That's because they are doing a bait and switch.

Here is the live flyover showing a calm school.

The chaos is at a small building the cameraman only goes to very sporatically to the right up the
drive from the school.
That is where all the emergency vehicles are.

Reported: NewsTimes is reporting:

"Police have surrounded a purple van at 33 Crosby Street in Danbury that may be connected to Newtown school shooting."

Listening to the live scanner now to confirm. I did hear upon starting that they are on White Street.

News conference expected at 1:00p.m. to talk about Newtown school shooting. Sources tell the Associated Press a gunman is dead. There are other reports of fatalities, but police have not spoken on the record yet.

It began with 2 shooters, shot gun & machine type gun, more than 80 rounds fired.

Why is this Channel 12 cameraman staying focused on the school when there must be 50 emergency vehicles and ambulances and such stationed at the white L shaped building about 1/2 mile from the school that is barely visible at times in the scene.

He knows it's there because he showed it about 15 minutes ago then went right back to showing the school where nothing is going on.

cnn witness claims 100's of shots fired.
I think there are more than 2 shooters tbh.....they had the van with the nun and the dead shooter.
and with all the heavily armed police there and maybe a class full of children as hostages.

I hope they take them alive and punish them in the worst kind of way

You are not following what I am saying. This happened 2 hours ago, I doubt there are still children running around at the scene with bloody faces.

The issue is the Live feed from the Channel 12 helicopter was showing a school with a car with crime scene tape and nothing else.
When all the while there is a building about a half mile away where all the "action" is taking place mostly offscreen. Now what is that building?

I hope that is incorrect. The principal is a very good friend of one of my friends. First thing he posted was he hoped that she was okay after hearing about the incident at the school she is the principal at.
