Wow, the GOP is spending 2 million dollars to defend an unconstitutional law that the justice department stopped defending 15 years ago?? Talk about big government, wasteful, pork-barrel spending.

I guess myopic, stupid acts aren't just the realm of democrats.

I can imagine the DNC getting angry saying, "HEY! We're supposed to be the spend-alot-and-run-around-like-idiots crowd! Quit copying us!"

Final note; GOP should get their heads out of their butts.

Umm... They stopped defending this in 2011. That's one year ago, not 15.... Now Justice determined it was in conflict with the Constitution in February of last year. That's a whole DIFFERENT bone to pick. Justice is executive. Executive doesn't GET to determine what is Constitutional and pick and choose what to enforce. Congress determines what they think is and the Judicial side gets final say.

Of course, we wouldn't want to confuse this Administration with abstract concepts like limits of power or the fact they have to enforce what Congress passes...and not what they CHOOSE to enforce.
