Appearances can be deceptive .

The objects didn't stay there for long

Where does it say that in the video ?

They say the object in the video was seen in the Eastern skies , I suggest this .

Jupiter is having a close encounter with Earth--the closest until 2021. The giant planet rises in the east at sunset, brighter than any other "star" in the sky, so bright that its reflection can be found in unusual places.

I believe the object flashing different colours to be Star .

- Military / Media / Pubic are not so dumb not to be able to differentiate between a star and an Unidentified object

The military didn't detect anything and are not Astronomers and yes the public are that dumb , seen it on here many times .

It may have had a 'Hovering Nature' to those that witnessed it but that's probably because they thought it was within our atmosphere and so would need to be hovering , but as we know Planets and Stars don't hover .

and get the exact same colours...
Hmmm...
On a thought: for your own good, try yourselfs...

Surely if all these sightings were "just stars" after a while folk would know they were just stars and it would be no big deal. However, these are clearly unusual as people are reporting them all over the world as something they've never seen before. If this was a natural phenomenon I would expect after the first zillion sightings over the years it would kinda be known that it was just "stars" and wouldn't exactly make the news

Your correct, but your assuming the average person is rational and educated!
It's so easy for the optics in our eyes to deceive us especially at night from a distance with atmospherics.....and that's excluding the "I want to believe, therefore it is" mindsets.
