Ok, I've read a lot of threads from people with their own experiences with paranormal, extra terrestrial, time slips, and all sorts of arears of weird happenings and I am no stranger to this, but what I have realised is that I hit a lot of these different areas although I have not aimed to do this.
I have had 'encounters' if many kinds and will go into detail if asked but my main question is how do you get true information and get intouch with true honest people who can connect with your experiences and help you look deeper into them? Help you understand what is happening to you.
I am sure someone will read this and know exactly what I mean and I am sure there will be plenty that will purposely make this more confusing than it already is.

See a Psychologist.
Go for a clinical diagnostic interview.
They'll steer you right.
They're very familiar with all the ghosts, demons, entities, and alien abductions of the world.

If they do you wrong, and cause you any harm, they've got malpractice insurance you could profit from.

Anyone else you see or talk to won't likely have any malpractice insurance, or professional licensing and accreditation obtained from over a decade of University as well as the measure of time they've been in practice.

The AMA's antics make Pol Pot look like a choir boy. They run the typically Mafia huge extortion scheme known as the DISEASE PROTECTION RACKET.

We have a grand experiment going on right now across the population. It is an experiment to see how long the American public will put up with Big Pharma lies, propaganda and scientific fraud while popping prescription drugs. Nearly everything that conventional medicine is telling you is fiction.

This is what passes for "science" in the world of Big Pharma. But the Emperor has no clothes. Under the mask of science, there's nothing but fraud and profiteering at the core.

I do not believe in Modern Medicine

Everything is backwards; Doctors destroy health

You have to read and listen and you will know who is telling the truth by what they say. Experience can't be faked.

Absolutely, they'll be happy to diagnose, medicate you, and take your money.

Depending upon what your experience was, ATS might not be too bad a place to start. You will have to weed through a lot of trolls, skeptics, and completely insane people, but you can find some truth around here - if you're patient.

What kind of experience are you referring to? You don't have to give details if you don't want, but it would help to know what field the experience was in.

I didn't say anything about medication now did I?

It's all good and well of you to fear factor someone away from a medical professional, but, you're not a medical professional, so, who are you to say if someone requires medication?

There are a number of treatment option available for health and wellness, as well as coming to an understanding regarding someone's experiences with ghosts, space alien abduction, and all sorts of bizarre and non-bizarre delusional attributions expressed in a variety of conditions that do not require subscription dosed treatment.

Counselling sessions to identify potential causation, and work through triggering variables have a high success rate among many who are quite capable of leading productive healthy unsupervised lives.

Thus, foo on your fear-mongering over suggestion that someone visit a licensed, degreed, experienced professional that is also covered by malpractice insurance.

OP, can, of course, go see some hoodoo Psychic, or some other shady character where they have no recourse if their perceived problems get worse. That's entirely up to them.

A physiatrist is a medical doctor with specialized training in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and pain medicine. They can give medicine.

A psychologist (does not give pills medicine etc..) is a professional or academic title used by individuals who are either:
Clinical, counseling, and school psychologists who work with patients in a variety of therapeutic contexts (contrast with psychiatrists, who are physician specialists).

So its cool to see a psychologist.

The first thing you would have to do would be to validate your experiences were 'paranormal' in the first place. That alone will get you talking to people who you should be talking to. Unfortunately for you, 99% of the people on this site who claim to have 'paranormal' experiences are self-validated. You can always go down to your local psychologist and tell them the magic that you've been through though.

Very valid points.
Yes, there's that too.

Thank you for adding that clarification which I neglected to expand on.

Too often people hear " Go see a Psy ...", and their immediate reaction displays a whole circus sideshow performance of conditional paranoid delusional exhibition.

No one is going to lock anyone up and dose them with wacky drugs if they're not a danger to themselves or anyone else. Even if they are diagnostically indicated to be a danger to themselves and/or others, anyone expressing such tendencies would still need give voluntary informed consent, plus appropriate medical insurance coverage before getting in-care treatment.
Only if they've displayed actionable behaviors, such as unambiguous documented suicide attempts where law enforcement has gotten involved, and/or confessed to a serious crime do options for institutionalization open, and even then require court mandate.

See This is exactly what I mean.
I'm not sick, I don't need to see a psychologist or take medication. I need to have a change in a big way if I want to make sure what I know goes to some good use.
Ive been thinking maybe looking into experiments on the human brain that could show us what happens when we have these experiences or at least why we may 'think' we have these experiences.
Look deeper on a scientific level so we see what parts of the brain is active when we are 'visited' and can 'comunicate' then we will be able to know so much more about this area.
All I am saying is how do you become a part of this?

Can you give a little more detail about your experience? Seem like you may be alluding to alien visitations.

If you want to be hooked up to a "god helmet", mri, or some scanning machine while you have your experiences, then you should probably look around college/university websites and see if you can find students asking for volunteers for experiments.

If you are alluding to alien visitation, next time it happens, pray and call on Jesus - just to see what happens - as an experiment - then report back to us, please.

how to become part of it all is to meet others who have experienced the same thing..i would guess that most on this line, considering the responses are not experiencers of any sort of phenomena..but there are other lines, more specialized forums..this is one for experiencers younotalone.freeforums.org, and of course there is always project camelot, tho that does deal mostly with 'whistle blowers'..

you are not alone in experiencing these things, tho it might feel that way right now ::rolleye:: there are others out there who do not suggest medication, but rather analyze each situation and try to see similarities between occurrances..you might benefit from that kind of feedback

Who do you think has the equipment and resources to conduct these experiments, monitor the equipment, and most of all, ensure your safety?

Perhaps you'd like to read some of the papers done by researchers regarding space alien abduction events?

Transcultural Psychiatry - Sleep Paralysis, Sexual Abuse, and Space Alien Abduction

The Ordinary Nature of Alien Abduction Memories

Memory Distortion in People Reporting Abduction by Aliens

The Construction of Space Alien Abduction Memories

These space alien abduction events can be reliably replicated in the lab.
this would indicate that space alien abduction and contact events are entirely personally subjective, and the result of a Psychological phenomenon.

It's not a matter of being 'sick', or 'well', or 'crazy', or anything like that. Such terms are not clinical diagnostic designations. There are plenty people with quite fascinating conditions like Synesthesia that can hear colors, taste music, smell sounds and a whole variety of aspects that result from their condition which by no means has any reflection on whether they are 'sick', or 'crazy', or anything such because there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. they're just wired differently.

If you're seeing ghosts, space aliens, or having other similar types of experiences, it by no means means you're 'crazy'. That is a common fear-factor myth perpetuated by all the snake oil salesmen, charlatans, quacks, witch doctors, frauds and other shady sorts that just want to get you under their spell where they might make some money off you, and when you get ripped off, you'll have absolutely no recourse as you would if you were to go talk to a medical professional that has insurance.

You can listen to the shady quacks and frauds that will tell you what you WANT to hear. they'll tell you all sorts of things that will give you feel-good fuzzy self validation. they'll lead you down all sorts of fun twisty paths, and eventually, somewhere along the line, they'll take your money, and/or get you into something that could cause you harm.

Thank you all or your responses and I must say there was some interesting points there that I will be looking up.
To let you know the kinds if experiences I've been having here's a few examples...

I saw 'shadow people' when I was young, I've had a fair amount of premonitions, I've had spiritual experiences where seen, heard solid apparitions and spoken to 'spirits'. I have also seen more than stars, satellites and other things you EXPECT to see in the night sky to the point something from the night sky came right down to the top of the houses across my street when I asked to see something unmistakable. I've had conscious encounters when experiencing sleep paralysis and have had a continuos feeling that I am not alone which just keeps getting stronger the more I live and I want to be able to know what this is as my other experiences have had some answers I need more answers.
