While making this video about Fireballs and new NEO's,
I was struck by the recent orbital paths of the daily new NEO's that we didn't catch the
first or second time around....

So I began to wonder, is something knocking meteors out of the asteroid belt and towards Earth?

It sure seems like it.

PHAGE. I'm talking to you, buddy!

I don't know about "daily", but we have discovered more NEOs because we have better tools than ever to find NEOs. We weren't really looking that hard before (we didn't have the tools to do so), so many NEOs passed us totally unnoticed.

Also, There are a lot more videos seen of fireballs now than before because there are more cameras (security cameras, webcams, cellphone cams, etc).
