It would be nice if we could get past this date without the goal posts being moved but I just don't see it happening. In fact I think we're already seeing it happen. I think the best we can do is facilitate a dialogue that will attempt to investigate why people believed in this date in the first place. I don't think we'll break out of this cycle until the people that buy into these dates time and again and ask themselves why. Sadly I just don't see this happening this time around. While there may be those out there trying to help the believers learn why they are going to be drowned out by all the people gloating and saying "Told you so!" In the end 2012 is just going to perpetuate the cycle of new prediction-failed prediction-mocking-new prediction.

1) Are the financial tables of the Money Changers turned over?

2) Do the peacemakers have any rest?

Matthew 21:12

Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

If you answered honestly, then Jesus has entered the temple. You will be looking for one day of change and that change is already taking place.

3) Are Egyptians turned against each other? Are they ruled by a cruel master (Muslim Brotherhood)?

I could fill this post with other examples, but if you cannot see the events of Matthew 24 happening now, then December 21 WILL pass you by as just another day. What follows will be words, words, words and nothing more.

A generation is one degree on the Precession of the Earth. 26000 divided by 360 = 5055. Enoch was taken at around 950 after Adam. That's 6000 years.

1948 they become a nation. One generation is 72.222 years. Matthew 24 says the generation that sees Israel become a nation will see Christ return. Christ said the days would be cut short or no flesh would survive. Make the generation above 70 years as a conservative number, like a Hebrew generation, and you get 2018. Seven years of tribulation and we see 2012 pop out as a starting point for tribulation.

Book of Adam and Eve

Between Adam and Enoch, this information should be approximately 450 years difference. Enoch gave the Watchers 70 generations, or 5055 years beyond His time to be taken by God. Remember, he didn't die. He was taken.

1 God said to Adam, "I have ordained on this earth days and years, and you and your descendants shall live and walk in them, until the days and years are fulfilled; when I shall send the Word that created you, and against which you have transgressed, the Word that made you come out of the garden, and that raised you when you were fallen.

I am not sure why you are having trouble seeing this day and age for what it is, but I pray for all of ATS to wake up. It IS happening NOW! There is no discussion that needs to take place. It's evident.

The only glimmer of light we have is the Light. I've seen it...it's real.

Some people expect a climax to strike (or not) on one particular day (or not) only so that they can breath a sigh of relief when it doesn't. Back to business as usual! For these people, this is a defense mechanism of the ego-self. For all we know, "2012" already happened and only to a few people. Would that make it any less significant? Nope. It would just mean that people have a lot to learn. What else is new?

The average Joe-Sixpack has no idea how to understand religion or myth. The very words themselves have been twisted by common usage. The only way to cut through the pop-culture BS and so forth is to study the comparative fields. Comparative mythology, comparative mysticism, comparative religion must be studied for years. And that's just for starters.

The average Joe-Science-Specialist has not studied those fields either. One can specialize in science without religious studies. By the same token, one can be religious without religious studies. No wonder that only a very few people have any idea what's going on! Without an understanding of religion and myth and related fields, one can't form appropriate thoughts, practices, experiences, and expectations.

While I won't argue that these times do have an accord with the Book of Revelation, I'm not giving the "Mayan 2012 Apocalypse" one iota of credibility, whatsoever.

And as for the money changers...

Jesus Christ and the money changers wasn't a prophecy, it was a narrative about how he came into the Temple, only to find it having been turned into a Flea Market. Then he proceeded to literally whip everyone outta there.

Anyone who's bought into the 2012 Doomsday is going to be mightily disappointed.

I don't worry about the Rapture. It's not my department. I am a witness of these events. The 21st will come and go, but we are seeing the event horizon of the single most important time on Earth apart from Salvation coming at the end of the next 1000 years. It's called the day of the Lord (1000 years long). If the rapture is the same as salvation, then we have 1000 years to go. If salvation and the rapture are separate events, then we could very well see it happen as stated in Isaiah 26. As for the day or hour, this never assumes the season or even the week. I have no idea when that might be. I do know that many Christians will suffer the destiny of Revelation 20. Here is what Isaiah 26 said:

19 But your dead will live, Lord;
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
20 Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
21 See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;

December is 33.33 degrees in nautical miles. That's 2012.9 miles. It's the start of tribulation as I see it. Psalms 111-119 are the psalms that outline 2011-2019. As you say, 2015 is the Antichrist breaking the peace plan that is coming.

Hosea 6

2 After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.

A day is 1000 years. Two days have passed. The third day is when he raises the temple. The moneychanger tables was a prophecy.

I believe in UFOs, paranormal activity, and so on. I also DON'T believe in many UFO related reported events, many reports of paranormal activity, conspiracies, etc. Because I an neither a skeptic, nor a "believer." I am someone who approaches every subject with a modicum of common sense, goes through the presented evidence, and then makes a decision. Why can't more people be like this? Why must folks take a firm side? You are a debunker! You are a nutcase who believes in everything! Why such a firm stand one way or the other?

I don't believe in the 2012 nonsense because the evidence is pathetically flimsy, circumstantial, and in many cases, just created out of thin air. But just because someone believed and found it to be wrong.. why would they need to become a die-hard skeptic?

I personally don't feel the need to take a stand on either side of the court. I will go back and forth as I hear the presented facts. I recommend others do the same.

I'm going to provide a video for all who are interested/skeptical about the 21st of December. This men explains in scientific terms what is going to happen energetically that day and what you should expect. Please, watch this it is very interesting the least. I promise, if anything you will learn something new.

Go back to the idea of Christ being the first and last Adam. If we are all cut from the same loaf, then Christ is the heel on both sides. The heel crushes Satan's head. The head is the leader of the overall spirit. Christ becomes the head of the church, which is the soul of humanity joined to another head.

This video has been uploaded a week ago. Also, what is he really getting out of this if he is conning people?
I have seen couple of his videos today and he seems like a kind person spreading a kind message. I'm also interested to find out who else thinks this men is a con man. He has NOTHING to gain. He is not selling a book or wanting donations from you. What a fail to try to debunk someone.
