I was typing out the briefs I was hearing on the KXL link. I tune in every night anyway during Clyde Lewis show.
I was relating what the reports were because I felt like most people were watching this on TV.
Maybe it's because I don't watch TV, but listen to the radio instead, you can hear more and learn more that way.
I find the film clips that change every 2 seconds very distracting during the reports.
Anyway, it was later into the broadcast after I heard the witnesses they used for the radio news being what seemed like one man and one woman. In one
of the briefs it said, Stan McMillan a former police officer was at the scene of the shooting earlier and was texting a friend who worked at the mall
when the shooting started.
Que the voiceover of Stan McMillan. He tells about the female friend having a gun stuck right in her face.
Of all people, OF COURSE, it's the friend of the cop who has an up close and personal encounter in which the
actual gun jamming allegedly occured saving her in melodramatic fashion.
As soon as I heard the name of the cop I was in reply mode taking his statement down here for this thread.
But, what I noticed is how much he sounded just like the first witness I heard giving his voiceover account.
He's the one who claimed to have said FU to the shooter and got up and ran.
And then elaborated about how he thought the gf was in front of him. Only to discover she was running behind him and he stopped to let her catch up.
Then he is talking to the reporter adding that they ran to some nearby apartments. The reporter asked if he lived there. He said, No, I live in
No response from the woman he was alleged to be with. On the next news brief it was with a woman and she
gave an account of the person shooting in the air and being scared.
Later they went to a guy who was filling out an application at Footlocker.
After hearing that I went to search the Footlocker location in the mall in relation to food court and came back and posted a schematic of the second
floor which I found pretty handy.
In this guy's account and he is not the only one who claimed to be there filling out a job application at the time, btw, This guy was named
"Billy". And in Billy's story. He and the manager are leaving and he walks by and see's a person laying on the ground. Not two. The girl was
found somewhere on the lower floor but I can't figure out how he supposedly shot her because of where she was found and where he was found dead
(supposedly with a jammed gun he fixed just so he could shoot himself).
I want to hear more about if anybody else can pinpoint the exact location of the 15 year old girl from the
Sheriff's presser drawings. I was at work and didn't get but a glimpse of it on the TV there.
