US President Barack Obama has recognized the main Syrian opposition group as the sole "legitimate representative" of the Syrians. This brings the US in line with Britain, France and several Arab states.

Haven't seen any other articles as of yet, but with other threads reports that Cameron is picking his troops almost at the same time, perhaps some kind of unilateral agreement being drawn up? Or just some scaremongering BS.

The Syrian people must be jumping out of their skins knowing Europe and the USA have decided who their leaders are...
