NEWS: Arafat's Health Condition Unknown

There are conflicting reports on the health of Yassar Arafat recently. He has had three Tunisian doctors treat him for the flu in his compound in West Bank, however FOX news reports that his condition is deteriorating. Arafat has been confined to his Ramallah headquarters since the uprising began in 2000.


It is also being reported that if Arafat needs surgery, he will be flown overseas, however PM Ariel Sharon states that if Arafat leaves the compound of West Bank he will not be allowed to return.

Rumors of Parkinson's Disease are floating around due to the tremors that are noticed during Arafat's public appearances and speeches. His aides deny these rumors.

Arafat is still recovering from a condition a month ago which left his with icomplaints such as fever, severe diarrhea and vomiting, Arafat was unable to complete his prayers for the first day of Ramadan, yet he is fasting against his doctors orders.

Whao, whe all the political spin going on around I guess most people not only have forgotten about Iraq but also about palestine, I knew they were blowing up some poeple overthere but I had not clue that Arafat's was sick, well that thells you that the man is human after all.

Yes, we usually forget that the others are humans too, specially if they are not on the same ideological side as we.

Arafat is not only human, he is 75 years old, so sooner or later we will see the news of his death.

So is there a flu shot shortage in the west bank too?

If he needs surgery I'm sure they will bring a surgeon in to the compound.

Strange that it would take 6 doctors to say that the man has the flu.....?
One thing is for certain, it is something beyond the ordinary flu.

Logic dictates that one may need to get their affairs in order....
