Facebook is down

According to Twitter (ironic I know) Facebook is down globally.

Some tweet the whole server is down apparently. I haven't heard of any conspiracy lately (Anonymous etc.) but I'll keep updating if necessary.


Does anybody have heard of anything happening there?

I don't have facebook, but yeah...the main site (server) does in fact appear to be unreachable.

Sounds like someone who couldn't log on, maybe their isp is down, tweeted the whole dang thing is down....

No, mine was working about half a hour ago and I read this thread and checked now it isnt working. Dont think its just an ISP thing.

I'm in England and mines down. cant connect on computer or phone

Down for me too. Was working up until 5 minutes ago. Don't feel one way or the other about it but would be curious to know if it was an internal issue or an outside attack. I don't see the latter being too easy to pull off but doesnt seem impossible either.


I never had many words for folks outside the net so I guess I will go back to curt nods, lol

Mine is gone too. I do hope it will be back up soon though, I love it for keeping in touch with my friends and family around the world. Much cheaper than phone calls and not everyone has Skype. (I don't trust my webcam anyway, bit paranoid like that lol)
