And yet the government will tout this as a success.
They really do. They are proud that 48 million people are on food stamps. They measure success by how many are on welfare rather than how many are
not.

48 million people are now on food stamps.
That's 1.44 million up from last month. Even taking into account some of those are from Sandy, that's still a shocking jump. It explains what all of those people who fell off of the employment numbers last week are doing.
Yes, that's right, those rosy employment figures reading unemployment is down to 7.7 only say that because half a million people dropped off of their stat charts.
Smoke and mirrors, don't let it fool you

How can anyone even qualify?

You have to lie.
I know a woman that was married, had a job, her husband had a job and she filled out the paperwork to get food stamps. She didn't tell her husband that she did it, then she would ask her husband for money to buy groceries. She bought the groceries with food stamps, then did god knows what with his money.
Oh, yeah, she cheated on him and after he threw her out on her butt, the govt is now paying for her apartment.... even though she found enough money to have her breasts augmented.

Oh, I love this argument of "Well, should we let people starve"?
Never mind that I am willing to bet that most people receiving Food Stamps have a place to live that still has items that could be sold to fund their life, as opposed to having others do so.
NOTHING is improving it is only getting worse. And the mouth-breathing dolts of America re-elected the biggest liar and failure in the history of US Presidents! And YES, he has surpassed Carter's failures!
