ATS Polling and Voting function for Threads?

How come we do not have a Polling or Voting function for threads on ATS?

Is that something not compatible with our current site structure or the program?

I think it would make some threads shorter and to the point...

Or better for just collecting information on members point of view.

That would be a great feature to have here.A gauge of the ATS collective yes please

I do believe there is one in place already.
It's call starring and flagging.
Or it could be reversed and called scarring and flogging.

Yeah, but you don't get to boo somebody's comment though, except with a thumbs down, so I guess that works.

Er. Should have scrolled up, see it's been suggested already - I vote thumbs up for thumbs down on comments like on yahoo. Where after so many thumbs down the comment is automatically removed.

Starring/Flagging is good but its either you agree with the person or not. No middle ground.

Polling/Voting would give a quick analysis of the discussion and then poster can move onto posting their opinion.

Thumps Up/Down is not bad either... if both are displayed and not cancel each other.
