….APRIL FOOLS! We’re sorry if this article had given arise to any concerns you may have had, but looking on the bright side, there probably will be a December 22nd. If not, we would all be very pissed to miss out on this years Christmas. And besides, if the world did end, you wouldn’t be able to come visit our nifty little website! Thanks for reading

The date of the article is indeed 1/4/2012!!!

The date of the article is December 5th. Am I missing something?

You sure got a lot of stars, so I must be...

You do know that when they tested the Atomic bomb, the scientist actually did believe that they would start a uncontrollable chain reaction, which could have ended mankind right there.

Why would they not push it to the limit or further this time.

Actually, I think it's one of the inherent pitfalls of being a human. We can never leave well enough alone, and THAT is scary!

Here is a video that seems to be a reading of the article that came out on 1apr and has since disappeared.

Well if you search for cern april fools then you get a history of events at cern being tied to april fools day jokes.

A. yes and in further tests they nearly did create the chain reactio you speak about but only monentarily....or so ive been told...

Why would they not push it to the limit or further this time.
A. no freakin reason at all.....the limit is just the beginning of the unknown......

Looks like that page was deleted. Interesting again.

That's funny. The article dated 1/4/2012 was the one named "secondary article" from which BIN got the info. This article no longer exists (I get 404 error). I regret now not posting a print screen of the article. I am sure many others ATS members (OP included) can confirm it was indeed an april fool.

In the comments of the article someone claims this to be an april fools joke then ends with 'deny ignorance'

Follow the link to the source article. (Probably number 1 in the quest to deny ignorance...)

Or just check out the screencap I took from the source earlier in this thread.

Still not in the Hoax Bin? You're slipping ATS, you are really slipping...

^This!

Debunked on page 1! ( by Hundroid, thanks for that
)

This thread is a prime example of how gullible people on ATS are these days and how bad the staff has become.

Maybe the scientists at CERN are going to make sure the 12/21/12 predictions come true. How nice of them to help the doomsayers out. Well, it's official, the doomsday party is back in business. I used all the brandy making hot toddys, I guess I'll have to get a new bottle for the party.

It would be good if a mod could edit it or just toss it in the HOAX bin.
