Would that be a huge white comet hitting the sea?

NY(sorry,it's always them^^)getting swamped by tsunamis?

I had an extremely lucid dream about it.There's more too,before it went totally bizarre.

There are going to be many more NEO's and even innominate

comets to discover. This one should be watched as well.

South to north above the ecliptic. Wonder what its doing in the IR

spectrum - ill see if i can talk to my kid's school astronomer to point

his ritchey-chretien 24" that way (doubt he will)


There is also that interesting theory floated on History Channels "Ancien Aliens" series
that comets potential bring with them "space viruses" (panspermia theory), which accounts for
the fear of comets historically....(ie, plague like illnesses. yes i know the plague was vectored
by Y. pestis from rats, I'm talking actual viruses, not bacteria or other).

Not worried... God is in control.

How much longer do we have, until this "thing" gets here?

I had several dreams a couple months ago. Reoccurring. Flooding. Water moving slowly, rising and destroying everything. There were small bands of survivors and I was with them, taking refuge in vacant apartments. Not really sure where the disaster started but I got the feeling it was from above.

Which person? There are different things being discussed in this thread but the object in the videos in the OP is a single comet with two "names".

Thanks for the info Phage. Your one of the members (experts) I was waiting on to come into this thread and shed some light on this matter.
So there is nothing to worry about with this object then? From what I gathered from what you posted its heading away from Earth? But is visible from telescopes at this point right now.

Also thanks to the other members who came in here to offer their thoughts and source links into this subject topic. Seems to be a couple things going on in here.. But I get the gist of what is being said here.

Wow...Zetatalk sure are whack jobs, huh? I was literally laughing as I read that first paragraph. If that pile of nonsense you posted came from that site, they should really do some BASIC research so that their fantasy stories at least sounds believable to a few people before posting up such blather. That was utterly ridiculous.

I think I remember a History Channel program postulating that the Spanish Flu came about as a result of a recent meteorite strike or pass-through of our atmosphere. I remember it saying something about the worst cases were on a line that went through southern Europe diagonally in to Alaska where no one would have thought the influenza virus would have struck. That would be a long trajectory that would have to take the Earth's curvature into account significantly, though.

If so it looks like "chem trails" isn't as new of a concept as one would think!

So when will we be able to see this comet or is it even going to be visible here in the north east. Which way will it be appearing in the sky?
