According to "Seth Speaks" (one of the greatest works I have ever read), we are here to learn the consequences of our thoughts and actions. We are
here to learn our creative power and learn to control it. As you can see, humans are the first beings to actually take an idea, give it a name, and
breathe life into it. Every language in existence, every means of expressing an idea, has been invented by humans. We are working on artificial
intelligence and cloning. Eventually, we'll discover immortality and grant ourselves almost every power ever imagined, because our curiosity will be
too great to overcome. If we're not hard on work on becoming the gods we envision, I am very much mistaken.
Next up, comes compassion. Learning to direct that creative energy toward loving ourselves or others. That's why I don't believe in hell or heaven.
These things require judgment, the act of deciding what someone else is worth. Everything is worth something, and everything has a purpose. If we
can't see it, or we don't like it, it's because we're thinking too close to ourselves. You have to see the larger picture to recognize where every
piece fits, just like a jigsaw puzzle. And in the end, we must love ourselves to love others. There is no evil, there is only pain. There is no good,
there is only love. Any true god would understand this. A true god would understand the pain and suffering, the emptiness, that drives this thing we
call 'evil'. And a true god would have mercy on them for being too weak to resist. If imperfection is our nature, then do not be surprised when we
fail to overcome our burdens. And this is what we look to for our morals. This is the shining model of our society.
Yes, I am hoping very much that this "new age" will bring compassion. Lots and lots of compassion. At this point, we need all we can get.
