I bring up this link because I was watching the local news and seen a bunch of progressives once again labeling the TEA party as a bunch of racists. I wonder if these same people know even a little bit about the history of the democratic party.

The Democratic party has been slowly killing off minority populations with there political policy's since their inception! Here's a few tidbits of info. Please check the above link out first. It's about the KKK and the democratic party. Very good..

What are political party systems? (Historical context necessary)
What are value shifts and chances?

Answer those two questions and the thread becomes unnecessary. Good evening to you, OP.

Let me tell you something, assuming you aren't a troll, or a shill.

The last thing this country needs right now, is zealous, blind, ignorant hate mongers such as yourself. People whose minds have been lost to the so called "two party" system we have here.

You are free to share your opinion, of course, but I think you'll find that many people are starting to disregard people like you, for their own emotional and mental health.

You live in a world of misdirected hate. You are a puppet. Controlled (perhaps moreso than we will ever know) by "the establishment" to focus your hatred on the "other side of the fence".

My poor, poor friend, the realities are as follows:

The "two party" system that you are a intellectual casualty of, exists only in the eyes of the public, modern, mainstream, popular society. It's very existence is a scapegoat for those in power. They have manufactured and continue to perpetuate the political divide, as a means to divert the hatred and anger away from themselves. They are sociopaths of the highest, most insidious order.

Those in power, regardless of their publicly declared political affiliations, are virtually sworn to only one "party". That party, now more of a perversion of a once noble philosophy, is crony capitalism. Crony capitalism, is a financial framework wherein the rich ultimately get richer, the middle class is ultimately eliminated, and the poor ultimately get poorer and larger in number. It is a system where the individual is a commodity to be exploited and manipulated for what would be justified with calling it part of "the greater good" (read: cutthroat profit), and "their right under free-market capitalism".

Except, to call it free market capitalism, is an insult to those men who once developed the concept of free market capitalism. It is a clear case of doublespeak. These days, to oppose this "perversion of free-market capitalism", is, in the eyes of John Q. Citizen, akin to being a socialist. Granted, socialism itself is an idealistic, unrealistic philosophy, but in the eyes of that average American, "socialist" might as well be a synonym for "terrorist".

And that is where the emotionally charged hatred stems from.

One group views the other group as socialists, and some of those "socialists" are lumped in with actual socialists, people who want to take as much as possible from the Government, without paying their dues.

That group, those "socialists", legitimate or not, then feel immense resentment towards the group they view as heartless, greedy, sociopaths. The thing is though, not all of those in the "capitalists" group support crony capitalism. Some still attempt to uphold the virtues of free-market capitalism, but are lumped in with the crony capitalists.

In both groups, legitimate socialists and crony capitalists are the the cancer that lies within. It is all being orchestrated, perhaps unknowingly, by those people with assets and wealth in the billions, and perhaps those in the upper echelons of the multi-millionaires. Those people with pocket lobbyists and politicians.

It would be very easy for me to look upon people like you with hatred. And, at one time in my life, I did. But now, now I just pity you.

For the greater good of Humanity, I yearn for the day when people like you, crony capitalists, and legitimate socialists, are shunned, ostracized, or dead.

The democratic party of today is diverse, full of minorities, white people and women.

The republican party of today is full of white men and a few women.

And ps; I guess you haven't studied American history very much, nearly everyone was racist back in the day. It's called societal progress, the democratic party has done that...the republican party hasn't.

White Guys Running the U.S. House Face Diverse Democrats

There will be at least 57 female Democrats in the House, about 30 percent of the caucus. Republicans will have at least 20 women, less than 10 percent of their party’s House majority, according to the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University in New Jersey. The final tally in a few states could add to that count.

Democratic Hispanics are poised to outnumber their House Republican colleagues 23 to five, according to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund.

This says it all........Republicans are stuck in the past

In contrast, white men continue to make up the vast majority of the Republican Party. In 1950, House Republicans were 97% white men, which fell to just 86% in 2012 -- a figure that Wasserman says will remain largely unchanged in the next Congress.

How so? Just because your political party has a crappy history doesn't mean you can steal the Republican Party's honorable history.

What? That I disagree with the two parties? Just cause I bring to light a terrible democratic history does NOT mean I'm a Republican. Nor does it mean I'm caught up in bipartisan infighting. I don't know what I did when I wrote this thread that has caused people like yourself to look beyond the subject and insist that I'm falling for a trick. especially since nothing in my posts insinuates that I'm a supporter of the Republican party.

I just find it ironic that the vast majority of minorities in this country support the same party that was responsible for their enslavement. Which, by the way is also ironic. Because, to this day... These two parties we speak of are BOTH responsible for our current enslavement now.

I was trying to start a thread that would make people think.... But I've failed doing so.... all I can get is attacks against my own political beliefs, which I have NOT even made public on this thread.. Go figure eh?

Nice pic BTW.

The point is what you make of it.. Nonetheless it's a bit of history that's not as well known as some would think it to be. And since this is a site where we "Deny Ignorance" then this thread should be considered relevent and informative. So, If you can begin a discussion about the fact that the KKK was an extension of the Democratic party, then, you my friend have found the point of this thread.

Or elaborate on this fact? Perhaps you have more to contribute to what I've wrote? Maybe information that challenges my statement?

Those are awfully big and bold opinions on my character considering I've written very little as to my points of view. that would be like me reading your post and saying....well....

Your most likely 20ish and still live at home.

Have probably been awaken in the last 5 years because you are WAY overlly emotional to have known this info for sometime.

And your a fascist because you would rather distract from the truth and push your own agenda as right and proper. So much so that you would say such hateful things about somebody you know nothing about...

Sooooo. How close am I? Be careful now how you answer, because either way, you prove my point...

You wish me dead? You wish me dead because I brought to light that the KKK is an extension of the Democratic party? You my friend are the VERY DEFINITION of a Fascist.

Or do you in fact wish me dead because you think you know exactly who I am BECAUSE I said the KKK party is an extension of the Democratic party?

Phew! control yourself buddy...You won't get anywhere with hate and judgement like this running through your veins

Well it sure looks that way when you only point out the racism on one side and not the other.

All governments are racists, sexist, authoritarian, and serve the capitalist class.

No it doesn't...

I'm required to give all information about all subjects and pursue every avenue of thought and interpretation that all readers MAY possibly conclude upon reading my article? Come on now... Get your head outta your butt.

If what you posted were how you really felt, then you would be making this same stupid post on every one of the threads you've posted on. And from my quick investigation. It seems that you have NOT done that. So, what is it about me pointing out the Democratic party's roots that REALLY offends you?

You CANNOt assume things so quickly. Not if you want to Deny ignorance.

You've decided in your mind that I'm a republican cause I called out the Democratic history? You know what happens when you assume right? How can you even think critically or even lie to yourself about having a legitimate opinion when half of your opinions are based on assumptions and clearly a little prejudice?

I never said you did anything. Just pointing out that when you choose to bash one side, with something that both sides are guilty of, it makes you look like you are being partisan. You could have made a post about racism in government, but you chose to only point it out in one party.

My name is not slick, have some manners.

if you can't do a bit of research to see that the Democrats used to be the more conservative party, so it makes a great difference in your point. In fact, it sort of makes it irrelevant. Yes, the Democratic party has a nasty history with the KKK, but at that time, they were the more conservative party of the two. Today's Democrats are nothing like the democrats of the past as far as belief systems are concerned.

And it's a pretty well known part of history as well!
