WWII London Blitz, Where the bombs dropped.

The project has scanned original 1940s bomb census maps , geo-referenced the maps and digitally captured the geographical locations of all the falling bombs recorded on the original map. The data has then been integrated into 2 different types of applications:

Sometimes the best threads get no recognition. Thank you for this source, it is a truly inspirational read. Lots of war stories from people who lived it. Great.

It kind puts this recent thread into context on how we as people not only survive but can rebuild and carry on with life as normal after such a thing happening.
