My career also requires that I meet with clients and perform services in their home. Establishing good rapport and trust is paramount, in order to
pull in as much work off each account as possible. Like many of you, one of the best ways to do this is by finding common ground outside the business
aspect of the relationship.
There is a lot to learn through friendly chat and discovering clients have similar interests is not uncommon at all.
If you have decent rapport, you can approach her using several different angles that can lead to her involvement @ ATS.
You could offer idle chat about current pop-culture topics found on ATS. Using 'half-serious' comments like, 'Hope to get your project finished
before Dec. 21st'
She'd surely ask why... you could move forward from there and find out for certain if she is a regular or just happened across a story on ATS.
Either way, it's good to be reminded that there are somewhat like-minded people from ATS in our communities. It would be great to know as many of
these folks in our community as possible, since they are who would, most likely, offer help in an SHTF scenario.
