syria near using chemical weapons?

I just saw this and didn't see it up. Syria may be about to use chemical weapons against it's people? news.yahoo.com...
Or is this just MSM scare tactics?
Or could this mark the beginning of a very major conflict?
Sarin gas is serious stuff. I wonder how much they have? And if this so called red line is crossed what would the response by the US be?
Anyway you look at it this can't be good.
