I don't trust anything I read going on with these wars.To much propaganda and the rebels clearly show they are also evil.Not sure if I trust the U.S. either now.None the less it cannot be good news.

Well, what have we heard from our government? Has anyone even bothered to interview him? What did he say? Don’t forget, this administration decided to handle this attack as a crime and not a terrorist attack. How long did it take for the FBI to be able to access the ‘crime scene’ after the attack? More importantly, what was left at the ‘crime scene’ to examine by the FBI due to this delay? Do you think the delay was accidental? Do you know what was discussed, or the reason for the meeting between Stevens and the Turkish consul general?

Yes, I know some key points. First, keep in mind what this arms running operation was all about. It was to topple Assad and replace him with a Muslim Brotherhood leader. It was to destabilize Syria to advance the agenda of Saudi Arabia. They were using U.S. and NATO forces to do exactly that.

First, I do think that Turkey is heavily involved in trying to set up the U.S. Turkey wants the Muslim Brotherhood to come into power in Syria.

Second, Saudi Arabia does NOT want the Muslim Brotherhood to come into power. They know now that the Muslim Brotherhood has taken over Egypt, wants to take over Syria, is trying to take over in Jordan and they know it's just a matter of time before they try to topple the Saudi government as well.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia do not have the same agenda. I think Turkey is duping everyone. Too many meetings taking place between Turkey and Egypt as well as Turkey and Iran and the rest of the Middle East is being fooled. Turkey acts like it's helping the Free Syrian Army, when they're really backing the extremist Muslims who have infiltrated that army.

The session, which is being held on the margins of a meeting on European security, comes amid reports of heightened activity at Syria’s chemical weapons sites and signs that Russia may be shifting its position on a political transition in Syria.

“Secretary Clinton has accepted an invitation by U.N. Special Envoy Brahimi for a trilateral meeting on Syria this afternoon with Mr. Brahimi and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov,” a senior State Department official said Thursday morning.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like Russia has concluded that they have to go along with whatever is about to happen so they can be part of picking up the pieces afterwards.

I thought the original reports from unnamed US government sources sounded like propaganda to justify military action. It turns out that the claim that Syria is mixing the precursors and loading them into bombs is extremely unlikely.

Such warheads and shells are normally designed as binary weapons with the precursor chemicals stored inside them in separate breakable containers at the time of manufacture. When the weapons are fired, it breaks the containers and the chemicals mix and react in flight. And indeed this is how the infamous one(s) Iraq used were designed.

This is done for two reasons:

1. Sarin is unstable. It breaks down relatively quickly, within weeks or about 60 days at most, and faster if there any impurities in the precursors.

2. It's extremely dangerous to mix the precursors in advance as the slightest leak or spill would be deadly. But the precursors can apparently be stored safely long term.

Easy answer - Debka - an Israeli based web site which sometimes has direct hits with their Middle East knowledge (they broke the news of the bombing in Syria by Israel a few years ago) to out and out propaganda. It is difficult to just show this report as propaganda as a) the Patriot missiles have come to Turkey quickly and for a reason and b) US are making noises about Assad's chemical weapons, so there is proof behind the story.

As far as chemical weapons go, your typical tyrannical ruler (let's call him "Despot X"), is probably better served using chemical weapons only as a threat - as a means to suppress rebellion, rather than actually deploying them. Once deployed, Despot "X" can expect his situation to immediately go downhill. International condemnation. Trade sanctions/trade curtailment. Foreign aid cut off. Multinational military blockades/ouster attempts. Short of going nuclear, he's essentially "shot his wad" at that point. Summation: these weapons probably more effective in the hands of a small group of mobile terrorists than they are for a head of state trying to stay in power.

Thanks for bringing this. I saw it this morning on RT and my jaw dropped. Has to be the most scary development right now. I am also amazed that nobody else has picked up on it yet. Should start a thread if one hasn't been started yet.

Since the "rebels" are funded and trained by NATO (in Turkey) one wonders about the source of these chemicals. It would make perfect sense for the western media to harp about "imminent invasion if chemicals are used" and these slavish cretins make good by starting it off with an actual release. Its obvious where the blame will be placed (Assad) and there goes your false flag. Judging by the amount of ingredients shown in the video, that would be horrific for anyone down wind.

One has to postulate the notion that if the US hadn't had a hand in arming rebels, Assad may not have taken things to this level. Without much assistance from the outside world, he probably viewed the uprising as a bad joke, but now that they are being assisted, things are different. Not to mention the US' long history of bringing weapons into a country only to turn around and attack them for having them.

How do we know this video is real? How do we know its the rebels or anyone in Syria for that matter?

Turkey is likely just a pawn. I'm sure they have their own agenda, but if you've followed the Benghazi threads you know that the US "consulate" in Benghazi was mostly a CIA facility that was heavily involved in rounding up weapons originally provided by the US to rebels in Libya and then funneling them through Turkey to rebels (or foreigners posing as rebels) in Syria. Figures like 20,000 Stinger missiles were being tossed around.

The late Ambassador Stevens seems to have been more CIA agent than ambassador, as he had gone into Libya early on to be the CIA liaison funneling arms to the rebels in Libya and was in Benghazi meeting with the Turkish ambassador, apparently about the weapons being funneled through Turkey into Libya, on the day he was killed.

NATO, the US, Israel, and even Arabic countries all use Turkey because it's more politically acceptable to have a predominantly Muslim country involved.

Are you telling me that you think it was just a coincidence that Al Qaeda released a video on September 10th calling on Libyans to "kill the crusaders" of drone attacks?
