You've contributed a whole two posts to ATS so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you are ignorant to ATS. (Trust me I know you'll say you have been lurking for years, yadda yadda) Here at ATS, we deny ignorance.

People have just as much right to post a discerning opinion on here. It's called skepticism. It isn't for everyone. Just those who question santa clause, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy and others. Not likening this to those things, but just explaining that rational people live in reality and deal with this world and don't just accept something because someone else promises it is true.

Here is what I do not understand.

WHY do we need to "practice" a certain type of meditation to "ascend" to a higher dimension?

I would assume (from my knowledge thus far and what "I" believe) we do not need to do anything except live with an intent of giving. This imo is called LOVE. Love is to Live without the "I", otherwise one can say he has missed the mark=sin..... To evolve is to live by giving love to others... stepping outside of ones self.

If we are to come in and out of human experience to evolve to a higher learning and or dimension then there is no need imo to practice anything except giving of yourself. Meditation is a relaxer... I get it... but it is, imo unnecessary.

We don't need to sit with our legs crossed, hands in a triangle, opening up portals of any kind to ascend. If you believe that.. then that is your reality in the making... but not mine. At least not right now.

The energy we need is already within which I call the Logos.

Whatever it is you believe is where your reality begins and ends.

All of course is just my own personal opinion.

Regardless, I can appreciate others beliefs and take them in as a mental and or spiritual note.

Makes no sense does it? Why? Because it is nonsense.Believe it if you want. But I will go on knowing that loving my friends and family has a far higher chance of helping me enter a higher plane of existence when I die, than following hand movements of some random old lady on the internet.

Being skeptic is one thing... but being a skeptic who is rude with their comments or degrading sets them apart as being child like.

My opinion of course.

Not hating... just hurts my heart when others are degrading when their view point is not considered as truth.

Im a mother... a woman.... who feels deeply for others. Don't get me wrong... I can hurt someone with my words. I have seen the dismay I put out though when I do hurt someone else... and frankly it hurts me much worse in the long run. What comes around goes around... and in the end... we are all here with different mind sets and view points. We have traveled our own journey to make our own His-Story. Until we walk in anothers shoes... its hard to understand. Having said that... without an understanding... you can't understand so try to be humble when you are being skeptical.

This thread and others on ATS can sometimes be hard to wrap your mind around. Some are just down right laughable... but why laugh at someone when they perhaps may be as genuine as you in their understanding.

The OP is not speaking of doom and gloom. There are countless people in the world who believe something is happening out of the norm. Even in China... they are getting ready for the "end of the world".

The human species is definitely on a heightened awareness for some reason... some reason a lot of people are on edge. Im not... thank God. lol A lot are though and we have to wonder wth is truly going on with our society as a whole.

As an observer I try to be logical, whatever that means. I try to remember though where it is I live.

We live on a PLANET rapidly rotating in SPACE. Now when I really think about this (which is all the time) I am amazed at the wonders that await us. There is always some-thing to be discovered.

Its nonsense to YOU. Its nonsense to ME..... however for the one experiencing such it isn't and this should be respected even though we do not believe.

A belief sets a reality into motion. Thats all.....

We all have a belief but the differences should imo be respected no matter how silly they may seem to us.

The OP and his mom really do believe this meditation will help.... maybe it will. I have no idea other than what I BELIEVE with the knowledge I have gathered and the experiences I have had thus far. Could my belief change whereas I will think it is necessary to meditate to get into a higher plane? Maybe. I don't know anything other than the way I feel and believe today.

Then I would re read this thread. Because it was the OP who was rude an degrading. Again, just because peopel type that others (myself included) were rude and degrading, doesnt mean they were. All I did in this thread, was question the heck out of the OP. I even found posts made by the OP himself making rude posts to others demanding FACTS behind their claims and not opinions... I never name called, ewok did. I never demeaned, ewok did. And he was the one claiming to be privy to information as to how to ascend. Kind of counter productive.


I would also disagree with you about you saying the OP was not dooming and glooming. I would say, to an extent, he was. Anything revolving around dec 21, 2012 is doom porn at this point. And you have to be living under a rock to not know that. Therefor the OP knew exactly what he was doing when he started this thread.

It is nonsense to me and I will never not state my opinion. But I would think an 'enlightened' person wouldnt care what I think. And wouldnt name call and demean when someone says so.

Id bet dollars to donuts, the female in the video wouldnt bother with me stating it is nonsense. And thats fine with me, shows she doesnt care which gives credence to her claims. The op however is another story.

I don't believe that bknapple has degraded anyone or made fun of anyone's particular belief or been malice in questioning the thread and "the ascension" he has a different way of saying the exact same things you mama J have said just in a much gentler way. Yes, we both found humor in different abstract things.. but mama j you and I did that yesterday as well.. does that make me a bad person or you a bad person because we may have offended some other more sensitive beings with our insensitive jest??

I don't believe either one of you are bad people.. think highly of both your opinions and have learned much from the thread in general... and I think that sums up what ATS is really about.. isn't it?

Stating an opinion and being skeptical makes for a good conversation and debate. It is no longer a healthy discussion or debate when you are degrading another personally.

You have no idea what will happen.... you like the OP are making an "educated guess".

The proof is in the pudding and the pudding has not been served yet.

For all I know (which is just a guess).... you will ascend and the rest of us wont.

We are having an adult conversation that is peaceful.

I didn't say he has demeaned anyone... but for the ones who have, it belongs in their court. If one thinks the message applies.... then so be it. Not calling anyone out. I posted a reply to him based on his post I was replying to. lol Its simple.

Finding humor and degrading someone on a personal level is where the difference is. There IS a difference.

Many have done it in this thread and others.... I call it like I see it, more so... feel it.

Saying I do not believe one has to mediate is disagreeing on an adult level. Taking it down to a child like level is going even further to say "I am better than you because you are stupid or down right delusional and when this doesnt happen I hope you show your face again and apologize".

Come on... be a humble skeptic who has a heart.

Also, I want to know from the OP where does Jesus fit into all of this.

I remember the Good Man stating in his WORD that no one knows the hour..... not even the son himself.

I totally get what your saying but there has been all of that on BOTH sides of this issue.. so does that make one side right and the other side wrong..? I , personally, have been attacked from the other side even though I never really picked " a side" and tried to understand all viewpoints nor did I personally attack anyone else... but this isn't a playground with teachers who blow whistle when people don't behave as we hope... all one can do is behave how we believe we should...

Another thing that just begs scrutiny. Claiming you have knowledge that is superior than any holy book in existence. Thats called a BOLD claim. And Im sorry, ATS is here to vet bold claims. And so far, no offense to the nice lady. A 3 minute video and some drawings do not prove one to throw out all the holy books. ( and im agnostic for cryin out loud)
