Strange events concerning Dec 22nd 2012- Maybe a good idea to read this. Maybe not

I have been reading your posts with great interest and I believe you and your mothers experiences are real, I believe there is something very strange going on with the world at this present time. I don't know what it is and don't pretend to. I like many are searching for answers. I know we are not alone in the universe, as I know there is a life beyond this life, my whole being tells me.
I respect you for posting your experiences on here and hope that you will continue.

For goodness sake people if you don't like what is being written don't read it!, why try to rip someone apart? because you don't agree!

This is a marvelous thread (to me) for this reason: if and when something irregular does in fact occur, it doesn't matter which of the oddball things that are predicted to happen, any of them will do, the type and manner of interaction in this thread is what will happen.

Some people will flatly deny.
Others will flatly accept.
Some will cry - "Demons!"
Others - "Ignorance!"
Hate will fly back and forth.
Confusion will reign.

Certainly the most significant factor will be that anything resembling objective, agreeable "truth" will be lost in the din, and we will be left with whateverthehell it is we want to believe.

I learn things by broad study and comparison, a species of induction I suppose (specific-general). If I see common threads, I look further.

The best example is the common human thread of religion under all its guises. Humanity has an undeniable (meaning that mankind DOES this, not that any of its particulars are "true") feeling that there is "more" to us, to life and existence, than what we experience in our normal workaday lives.

Spiritual, religious sentiment is as common as its cousin - aggression. One comes from the sense of wonder we feel when we experience something that is obviously grand or exceptional. The other comes from our natural survival instinct amped-up by the fear that culture insists on hammering into us. This fear is expressed as anger at the "other" in all its forms. I think this is the primary way in which we as humans are controlled by our masters.

I just wanted to say that this thread, and I suspect many others, are harbingers. There is a lesson here, and I see it in the form of a question: what would/will you do when faced with a novel situation? Not something like an unexpected accent on the phone or a surprise visit from grandma, but something truly unanticipated. Will you be afraid and angry, or will you approach it with a sense of adventure and wonder?

I am trying really hard to develop a sense of openness and adventure, and to quash fear and dogmatism.

Whether you think we are undergoing a shift or whether you think that hype and lunacy are simply the new normal, I think fear reduction is a worthy goal either way.

As far as this thread goes:
OP doesn't frighten or anger me.
I recognize the story he is telling.
I admit I cannot validate it in any meaningful way.

If I allow for a moment that he is sincere, I ask myself: how does it make me feel, and what might be the thoughts underlying those feelings?

Anyhow, that's how I approach it, and that's why I read most of the posts in this thread. I am interested in how people react to the unusual, and this thread is a trove of reaction.

For that, if no other reason, it is a great thread.

But I digress. I wanted to make a thread not regarding coincidences, but facts concerning the experiences i've had and what my mother has had surrounding this date. I'm not really a writer, and I have no intention of making this any more or less dramatic than it needs to be. But I will make this piece in 2 parts. The first will involve my mother's life, and the second will involve my role and my experiences with her. This is all related to 2012, and so I hope you all find this as interesting as I have in the last 12 years of my life (this is an incredibly condensed version, and I will be answering questions if you have them from now until this date).

I haven't seen any of your personal experiences that you elaborate you have and can answer these mysteries of the universe and this ascension that's taking place on the 21st.

You have stated you don't know whether your ascending yourself and then later on in the same post say.. if you don't know for sure by now one is not ascending.. so i guess we're all stuck here.. so I don't know why you keep implying your only here to answer questions until the 21st when clearly you yourself per your own words are not ascending.. so is there no need to discuss it after the 21st when everyone who has or will ascend? I would think that would be a high topic of conversation esp if your mother was knowingly one of the few who ascended

Thank you for the compliment. I would consider myself to be incredibly rude to anyone who demonstrates arrogance, and I am humbled that you recognized that. But I never claimed to be enlightened. Read my posts again.

I do go straight for them. And have done so my entire life. I don't tolerate dis-respect. I don't know where in your right mind you concluded that it's OK for anyone to respond this way to peoples most private stories. If I'd met any of these guys in the world I'd verbally put them in their place in 10 seconds.

Also, you are assuming all enlightened people are kind, gentle people. That is not true either. Some of them prefer hermit type lifestyles, solely because they cannot stand society at all. Life is not all skittles and rainbows. Sorry.

I believe I said that would be in the second part of my story? Read my posts again. I did have a role to play in all of this being born to a woman who lived her entire life paycheck to paycheck. I will discuss my purpose later. But that is not nearly as important as what it is she is doing.

I have been told certain things which I personally find hard to believe, because of my science background. That being said, although ascension may seem certain to some were they in my shoes, I cannot be 100%. But for the sake of this story, I am assuming that if everything happens according to what was told to us, then I would be going as well, and my doubts will have been for nothing.

I must have maybe a dozen books on Cayce, the source of his info (other than the Akashic Records) was never identified.

Obviously, Edgar Cayce believed in God. He also believed that the highest purpose of a human incarnation was to realize God in this life and to live on Earth from that understanding. He strongly stressed the importance of meditation, prayer, and living a moral life. He believed in reincarnation and karma.

Of course, the ultimate realization is that there is only God. God created this melodrama for It's own amusement. There is no one else here.

However, we (in these finite, temporary forms) exist in the realm of Duality. Without Duality we cannot exist.
If we want a dharmic life, one that goes with the "grain" of life instead of against it, then we have to follow some rules.

I don't think it's a joke... Have read the entire thread. Probably One-Half or more is filled with people who say it's a sham, joke, farce, etc... What's the point of that? Maybe the OP or someone else can answer a few questions for me, so 1 million people will Ascend on Dec 21 and if so how will they ascend like will they beam up in the sky like startreak? What big event happened on March 22nd 2002 that had to do with your mom? What if this huge earth changing event doesn't happen and if this event doesn't happen how will it affect you and your mom? Will you come back on Dec 22nd if this event does/doesn't happen as long as you don't ascend? If this event does happen it will be obvious and there is no way it will be able to be hidden so I guess we will find out if the OP is telling the truth on the 22nd.

I've answered the majority of your questions already. Read my posts please. Whether people are chosen depends on many factors:

1) The evolution of their soul on this planet.

My mother was told that everyone begins their incarnations on Earth's human race having to go through a 7 cycles of reincarnation. Each lifecycle is composed of 7 lives. The purpose of this is for accelerated evolution of the soul through direct experience. This can be analagous to the Mayan calendar, and how consciousness was theorized to accelerate as one ascends the 13(?) steps. However, when a soul fails to understand a crucial lesson in that particular lifetime or life-cycle, they must repeat it, and so think of it as being held back a grade in high school. additional lifecycles are added to your progress. And again like school, one can "skip" grades so to speak. For example, life cycle #4 usually pertains to the rejection of wealth, power, and prestige in order to discover something of real significance. If that is not accomplished, and the soul remains a slave to their material possessions (because that is what they are born into repeatedly in that lifecycle), then they will repeat it until they "get it". I'm summarizing only to prove my point here. So it depends on which step of the evolutionary cycle you are on.

2) Their soul's path.

It may have been possible that prior to incarnation, you had chosen to remain with this planet, so that after several incarnations, through spiritual mastery, you would lead the remaining citizens into possible enlightenment for the next upcoming opportunity to ascend, which I believe my mother will talk about in the video. usually the goals of the soul have nothing to do with the goals you set for yourself in your life, which may be why they told us that most all human pursuits are a waste of their time.

3) Your current attachments. Having a child for example, has laid upon you a responsibility which if abandoned would go against the very laws which with the universe was created. I've never seen a spiritual master with his kids by his side. If there are, I apologize for not noticing, but when you have ties, they cripple your spiritual progress. That's not a theory.

I am in the same boat as you as I don't know if it's true or not. But I'd like to hope it's true. The way life is on this planet is a bit on the uninspiring side of things.

How do you know where you are in the cycle of reincarnations (or if there is even a way)? And what lessons are we supposed to learn in each cycle?

Apparently I'm reading backwards, so I apologize going backwards into the thread, but I never said "if you haven't gone to the great conference, nothing is going to happen to you." WHat the heck? Re-read my posts. *facepalm* The March 22nd date was just to tell you when it started. I hope that put that question to rest.

As far as I know the answer can only come from someone who has the ability to communicate with beings knowledgeable on the cycles, or to hear the answers from within. The latter is more difficult truthfully. That's just because instead of finding a strong man to move your car, you are going to lift weights until you're strong enough to do it yourself, if that's a suitable analogy. I can ask her to review the lifecycles and their purposes for you in the video if you want. I asked her to think of what she wants to say to these people by the time I get home so that we can start recording and editing. So we'll see.
