Abbas says new Israeli settlements 'red line'Abbas says new Israeli settlements 'red line'

Mahmoud Abbas, center, attends a meeting of the Palestinian leadership at his compound in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Tuesday, Dec 4, 2012. Israel’s latest settlement plans will destroy any lingering hopes of setting up a Palestinian state next to Israel, a senior Palestinian official warned Tuesday.

So now Abbas is peeing in his pants and wants to whine to the world with his crocodile tears?

He should have known better when he unleashed his dogs - hamas to fire missles INDISCRIMATELY upon innocent jewish cities for months and and still have the cheek to begged with a sympathetic but fooled UN for observer status with his fake tears after terrorizing jews.

May this sucking up to the terrorist Hamas piece of political worm, whose words from his opiate mouth which are meaningless which fooled 138 nations to support palestine but actually supporting the genocide of jews - be honest to Allah, to the prophet, to himself, to the world, and most of all, to the innocent people of Palestine - to tell the truth.

Truth is - Had the long dusty Peace Process in any case been even talked about, let alone revived? NONE!

Thanks to the palestinian 'death to jews' policy as a pre-condition. Who would sit down when the other party demands your death as a condition for negotiation????!!!

May this worm Abbas end his BS and death policies, come clean and seek for honest dialogue to end the suffering of BOTH innocent palestinians and jews for bloody once.

And stop trying to play the victim card yet again by attributing Israel as the aggressor with its settlement building plans when that scumbag Abbas and his dogs hamas had long refused to sit down without preconditions.

Enough is enough!

I am only nothing, an insignificant nobody, but the needless suffering of the innocent fooled palestinians, the Israelis, and humanity caught up with it....

It's been decades of pain and suffering...it must end now.

The UN vote to upgrade the status of "Palestine" to a non member observer status was something of a diplomatic defeat for Israel, so the Israelis responded with a controversial political initiative of its own: building 3,000 new homes in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria (the so called 'West Bank') and East Jerusalem, infuriating the US, EU, UK, France, Spain, Denmark etc in the process.

The world accused Israel of provocation and praised the new "Palestine" at the same time.
The irony in all of this, however:
By turning to the UN to upgrade their status, the Palestinians violated their obligations set down in the Oslo Accords, which stipulate that they can only become a state via direct negotiations with Israel.
On the other hand, Oslo accords do not require Israel to stop construction in the settlements, despite Palestinian and international claims to the contrary.

Europe and US have been interferring Israels election campaign by accusing Netanyahu government of creating obstacles to peace. (Obama still wants to teach Netanyahu a lesson because he supported Mitt Romney in the US elections).
But Europe lost all credibility with Israel when France and Spain (amongst others) voted for Palestinian statehood at the UN, and Germany and Britain abstained.
Europe's excuse was that it needed to strengthen Abbas after Hamas got a boost in popularity for bombarding Israel with rockets during the Gaza conflict. However, the decisive factor in convincing the Europeans to support "Palestine" was the Palestinian Authority's promise to resume negotiations with Israel without preconditions immediately after the UN vote.
But when Israel announced the new settlement construction, the Palestinians had a convenient excuse not to deliver. After all, why should they negotiate when the world is ready to hand them a state and blame Israel for any lack of progress?
