called you nuts cause you told me to lol..
but honestly i do think the weather is normal
and i think certain people would lke you to believe its all about the 21st
every year i can remember there is some major weather event somewhwere in the world
earthequakes hurricanes, tornados,drought, floods,mudslides,wildfires,
and im still here and ill still be here on the 22nd
We'll be around next year. However, I'm not a complete nay-sayer. Something about the way the earth is behaving....the weather being goofy, the larger natural disasters, the more frequent earthquakes, volcanoes waking up, sinkholes opening up everywhere, and odd-ball sounds that nobody can figure out, tell me that there are some possible changes afoot for our little blue marble in space.

I agree we'll all be here on the 22nd. I didn't intend for this thread to sound like a 2012 doomsday thread, I just wanted to point out the amount of threads that can be construed as end time prophecies, but mainly because I get sick and tired of all the debunkers who jump on people's threads and claim you're a tard or you're nuts if you buy into anything at all. I don't buy into much of it but at the same time, I don't deny that it's happening. You mention the quakes, canes, droughts, floods, etc., and yes its true we've always dealt with our share of weather, but if you're paying attention in this day and age, things have increased in frequency and intensity.
Fourth, the bible indicates that their will be nuclear warfare during the Tribulation hour. With the current spread of nuclear arms worldwide, this is definitely a prophecy being fulfilled. With North Korea already possessing these weapons, along with so many other nations, and Iran so close to having them, it sure makes the world a dangerous place.

Really? I'd love to see where it says that.
And there have been people predicting the end of the world on this website since before the website existed. Pretty much every month there's a new one, and I have only been on this site for like 3 years(different account for the first year).
Ezekiel 39, written over 2,500 years ago, speaks of God's judgment upon enemies of Israel. Verses 12-15 describe what will happen after what many see as the Battle of Armageddon: "And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land… And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. And the passengers that pass through the land, when any sees a man's bones, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog." Before the days of nuclear warfare, this portion of the Bible would have made no sense to the reader. We are told that even the weapons left by the enemy will have to be burned (Ezekiel 39:9). So many will die that it will take those specially employed for the purpose seven months to bury the dead (v.14). The Scriptures are very specific about the method of burial. When even a bone is found by searchers, a special marker is to be placed near the bone until the buriers have buried it. This would seem to be a clear reference to radioactive contamination after the nuclear war. This thought is confirmed in Joel 2:30, which speaks of "pillars of smoke."

rezlooper, since your just 'down the road' I thought I'd comment :-) Your post made me think of Monday night. I am in green bay, wi. I left work dark and late, well after 8pm. And i remember thinking....."hmmm, I'm walking to my car, slow and not rushing because its not freezing, I have a light sweater on, no jacket,no sun for 4+ hours, and i feel like grilling out for dinner (blatz and bratz? LOL). Mid December. Not right for the frozen tundra ." As I glanced at my outside temp gauge as I hit the highway, it read 62. Although Tues and Wed were quite 'normal', i can still 'feel' the eerie quiet calm above-average temp nightly stroll to my car like it was ten minutes ago....because it just felt 'that' weird. Of course, it 'was the alignment of the giza so I'm sure that added to the mystery.

If you are nuts, then a lot of us are nuts too!
We should be calling 2012 "This is the Year that Was."
It is very eerie the things happening mirror Bible prophesy. I don't know about other religious books written in ancient times as to whether they really speak to end-times events.
I suppose we could look into the archives of this site or just look at earlier pages to see exactly what people were talking about several years ago. That might be an interesting excursion.
Also, I find it interesting (and rather amusing) how vehemently some people react when anything religious is brought up. People who don't know the Bible and don't really know the beliefs of Christians automatically relagate Christians to the 'tard pile. Well, I am proud to be numbered among the 'tard Christians.

A simple internet search pulls up these verses
Zechariah 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
Matthew 24:6-7
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that youare not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” thensudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Deuteronomy 7:1-26
7 “When the LORD your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites, the Girga#es, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and mightier than you, 2 and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction.[a] You shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them. 3 You shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons, 4 for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. Then the anger of the LORD would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly. 5 But thus shall you deal with them: you shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and chop down theirAsherim and burn their carved images with fire.
