There you go then. Neither do I. But as far as I know, there are hundreds of people on ATS who believe anon are CIA etc, and not one of them have produced any conclusive evidence to prove anything. Not a bean, besides half-baked 'what if' threads and such.

As for terrorists. That's a bold statement and I don't think they've ever been classed as anything beyond hacktivists or hackers or such.

I've been banging the drums for Israel nuclear program to be regulated for years, and believe it about time the UN brought this subject up, but this move by Anonymous just gives Israel a excuse to not allow inspections and regulations, this is why i feel this is a bulls#@t story.

Not only that, but my worry is if this story does turn out to be legit, our whole western nuclear program is exposed to hostile nations.

Not to be anal but cyber terrorist is a programmer who breaks into computer systems in order to steal or change or destroy information which is the case here as they have said they stolen highly sensitive nuclear data and the threaten to publish the confidential information to the world, this is not some corporate hidden tax return or political expenses, this is highly sensitive stuff that concerns our homeland safety.

here is another link to a source Link

Parastoo stole the personal information of nearly 200 IAEA scientists and officials last week, including one employee in the United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science. DOE is responsible for overseeing America’s nuclear arsenal.

Parastoo now claims to have pilfered reams of documents and personnel information from the nuclear watchdog’s internal “nuclear data section,” according to a statement by the group.

It also has obtained “highly sensitive information, Including Confidential ‘SafeGuard’ Documents, Satellite Images, Official letters, [and] Presentations,” according to the statement.

The hacker group has threatened to release this sensitive information unless the IAEA launches a formal investigation into Israel’s nuclear site, which some believe houses nuclear arms.

You don't know what your talking about to be honest. Do you or can you grasp the concept of Anonymous ?

How can you label the hive like that , when it consists of so many different people with so many beliefs and agendas

I'm proud to be Anonymous and have been on op's for teh lulz and got them in bucket loads.Aaron Barr and the Sony ops were hysterical. Hitting Youtube and Scientology is now internet legend !!11!

I have protested in things I feel strongly about because I have passion and a sense of whats right ! Been involved in stuff just for amusement. Am I a terrorist ? No , not at all, I am just me. Was I involved in that op ? Nope not at all.So am I to be branded a terrorist as well then ?

Our "friend" t3h j3st3r is a strong believer that certain factions fly under our banner with very dark agendas and to be honest I'm inclined to agree with him as people can fly under our banner and in a sense they are Anons, this is why we are so complex and to label us like that is rather stupid IMO.

Anyway whats wrong with getting the Jews in check ? They are the biggest trolls going ,It'd actually be funny ...... Apart from the bit where lots of people die.Thats not lulz worthy.

Right back to my basement and some 4chan fapping.

7 proxies FTW

The group, called Parastoo (Farsi for bird), declared that it obtained documents from the IAEA's internal...

Calling people Anonymous is fine, but if news outlets keep try to label anyone under the guise of anonymity as some organized group it's not only going to be confusing for people, but it's kind of silly.

This is likely an Iranian hacker group, unless someone else is naming themselves in Farsi to make it look like them.

I know that we cannot be sure who anonymous actually is as there have been many claims that proved to not actually be from THE Anonymous. Sometimes I don't know what to believe, especially after last week when they hit out against the Syrian Government's fight of Western-backed terrorist forces.

Hadn't actually heard about the first hack. But did see another story today regarding the UN vote for Israel to sign the NPT.

Which is also curious. Why all of a sudden is the UN ostensibly taking a position against Israel?? I just don't trust all the things you read. So hard to differentiate between truth, disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, and so forth.

How exactly is the UN pressuring Israel to sign the NPT a case of taking a position against Israel? All it is asking is that Israel abide by the same treaty that most every other country in the world has signed onto.

They would be better off by hacking Iran's system to prove/disprove if they are developing nukes instead focusing on Israel which would prove what the world already knows in that Israel has nukes. It's really no secret that they have them is it !!. So why bother unless they think Israel has some new type of Nuclear research going on that's never been heard of.

Why bother with Israel's nuclear weapons? Because it is a rogue nuclear state and hasn't admitted to having them. And because Israel has them, it has brought on a nuclear race in the region -- first Iraq and then possibly Libya and Syria having programs and now possibly Iran. You want Iran not to develop or have nuclear weapons? Then Israel must admit it has them and agree to a nuclear disarmament in the region. You can't expect Iran to agree to not having nuclear weapons if its chief rival has them.

No offense but..

Where were you when Anon attacked Official Syrian websites in protest over their Internet shut down?

Yeah that's right

Crickets...

What does one have to do with the other, and why must one person make a thread on every VERY tenuously related topic, otherwise that person's credibility and point are undercut according to you?

not really, israel is not part of the non-proliferation treaty, therefore knowing exactly what and how many nukes they have would be very important for the world and its neighbors. other countries that havent signed or are unrecognised: republic of china, north korea, india, and pakistan.. interesting group to say the least ^^

Iran, on the other hand , has signed the treaty, and im supposed to trust israel over iran. no thanx ill support iran over israel any day.

A bunch of kids(maybe) just broke into a highly classified system, I wouldn't worry about the group, worry about the people who can't protect you and you pay for it. No one should be able to a damn thing after 9/11 than to our crack security forces rofl. And yet here we are, paying some of these fool 100k plus a year so we can read stories of how a rag tag haxxor group got more info AGAIN lol. So sad really sad hahaha.

The group, wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the corrupt bankers/governments/corporations. When governments start standing up for its people again, instead of fascist corporations maybe the group would go away? Cause and effect. Many may not agree with how they go about it. But its sure as a hell lot quicker than waiting on a vote ^^ no one ever wants to do a damn thing UNTIL the dirty laundry is all over the yard. so i think its great, and i hope they expose everyone leaving no rock unturned.

maybe its time we spent more money on education than warfare and maybe we too can get programmers that can hack into decent systems or at least protect the damn things. lol ^^

You want to argue semantics?? Pfffft. The vote on Palestinian recognition and for Israhell to enjoin the NPT is enough for me to consider that perhaps there may be another focus....But I friggin digress...

"The UN" isn't a monolithic entity, but is a body composed of many representatives...

So, when you say, "The UN" is taking a stand against Israel, what you mean is, "certain representatives" are taking a stand.

The vote for "NMO" status is online, and if you do a tiny it of research, you'lll be able to determine why each nation voted the way it did.

No big conspiracy.

Anonymous is a front, a shell, that's all it is. The vast majority of people that consider themselves to be in Anonymous not only can't hack, but lack basic common sense (Example: [jesterscourt.mil.nf]).

Their main role is evidence diffusion, and in the past enlistment in crimes such as DoS attacks (LOIC). The methods used to entice people to engage in DoS attacks are nefarious. Told they wont get caught if enough people do it, or told they can just say they were hacked, or their Wifi was left open. Where is the nobility in enticing gullible children to commit crime?

Anyway, back on the subject matter. Anybody remember the film The Abyss? Lt. Hiram Coffey, the navy SEAL with high-pressure nervous syndrome? This is how I see Israel now. With recent U.N. pressure they are going to become more isolated and paranoid, and this really isn't a great situation for a country with undisclosed numbers of nuclear weapons. Sure it's time for them to grow up, and join the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, but nobody at this stage can predict how they are going to react. If the past is any induction, I suspect... poorly.

Come on. You think Iran has something we have never heard of?

Why be so flippant about Israel holding nukes? You must be aware of their hatred of the Middle East and their willingness to bomb them into oblivion. They demonstrate that monthly!

Why the blind acceptance of anything Israeli? You accept their bombing of NYC? Do you even care? I doubt it. You are stuck on that little piece of property they talk about in your little black book. That is all you know.

The rest of the world knows better and nukes are a danger in Israeli hands. IMO they are more dangerous in Israel than Iran. Iran would only threaten to use them, Israel would be glad to.

I think you are right about Israel, but not the hackers.

Look throughout the rest of the world for the answer. Young children carry guns everywhere that violence rules. We see it here in some big cities and even some small ones. They may not know why they are doing it, but they believe strongly in their cause.

I agree as adults we should protect our children from the bad things and not contribute to their delinquency, but their future looks very bleak from their perspective. They will have to fight for their survival in ways we never had to.

Although I do agree, but in a way the worst part is that the young generations has to do it because they are the ones who has to live with the consequences of our actions. If they don't stand up for themselves then who will? The previous generations are the ones making their future unclear.
