. . . their decendants would return through Jesus which is the point of Jesus' discussion with the Samaritan woman by the well.
The "point" Jesus was making was that there was no 'place' to return to.
True worship would be going on in a spiritual plane rather than a geographical.
All the rationalization for a 'returned' Israel goes against Jesus and the religion of Jesus' church.
