Because we wanted to be here. Slash evolution

We gave ourselves consciousness?
How could we give ourselves consciousness if we had none?

LOL.

Did energy give us consciousness?
Where did the energy to create consciousness come from?
A random event?
What was the impetus for the random event?
From whence did the energy come from for the random event to occur?

Where did the template of our consciousness come from?
Life may originate from the same source, but that doesn't mean that we are kin to snails.
Where did life come from? What is the source?
Why would the source create diversity in life?
And diversity in their consciousness?
When did primal animal instinct separate itself from sentient awareness of purpose and being?

Surely you have all the answers to these questions since your will created all existence?

Then Adonai answered Job...
"Who is darkening my plans with his ignorant words?...
Where were you when I founded the earth?
Tell me, if you know so much....

Have you surveyed the full extent of the earth?
Say so, if you know it all!

Which way leads to where light has its home?
and darkness, where does it dwell?
If you knew, you could take each to its place
and set it on its homeward path....

Do you know the laws of the sky?
Can you determine how they affect the earth?

Who put wisdom in people's inner parts?
Who gave understanding to the mind?

Let him who wants to correct God give an answer!"

The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

The mere thought of time, space and matter coming into being all by itself for absolutely no reason and the earth forming the way it did, molecules and elements forming as they did, and humanity evolving and life occurring how it did, without a force guiding it, intelligently, is so absolutely absurd, my mind cannot fathom how any intellectually honest person can describe themselves as anything but agnostic, at best.

After admitting that God or a god/gods may possibly exist, you then have to ask yourself, what would a Gods characteristics be? Then you must begin investigative research into world religions,

After conclusively and objectively researching world religions and comparative theology, how any open minded, intellectually honest person could reach any conclusion aside from Christianity, is also beyond me.

I am saying this as somebody who spent my first 19 years as a through and through "atheist", and the next two as an agnostic, and only my last few years as a Christian......

Have you ever compared writings such as C.S. Lewis and Lee Strobel or St. Augustine or St. Thomas Aquinas to works from goons such as Dawkins or Harris or other "bright, new atheists" buffoons?

The quality of work and the intellectual genius and the sheer volumes of the former, so absolutely and totally overshadow and overthrow the latter, my mind cannot come to terms with how anybody subscribing to the worldview of an "atheist" can at the same time call themselves an intellectual.

38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

Are you talking about yourself or just quoting random bible verses?

You do wish you weren't confused.

I asked if you were just quoting random bible verses or talking about yourself.

Something you could easily have answered.

Instead you give no answer and and call me confused.

Being obtuse on purpose or are you naturally that way?

This is the way The Creator creates a baby in the womb. He first begins with the bones, and then forms the flesh around it. I, myself, thought the brain was formed out of blood. eheh. That's how it is told in one of the chapters in a book of God.

I was repeating one of the verses godlover posted in this thread. I enjoyed putting them bold.

The first major components formed in the human body are the heart and vascular system.
The life is in the blood.

However, the initial process of cell division is composed of progenitor cells, all of which are capable of producing all the different cells of the body.

However, although I never cease to marvel at the wonders of His hands, He could probably explain it much better than I can.

explain to the brain train...,.
