Australia summoned the Israeli ambassador on Tuesday to protest against Israel's decision to expand Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank and withhold tax revenue from the Palestinian Authority.

Australia's move followed similar actions in Europe including Spain, France, Britain, Sweden and Denmark in the wake of the Palestinians winning de facto U.N. recognition of statehood.

The Australian Govt is so far up Israels backside that they could check Noddinyahoos dentures for him,this is merely a face saving exercise because they abstained from the vote instead of having the intestinal fortitude to stand up to America and Israel

Hamas seized the Gaza to make war with Israel , not peace

Ofcourse Hamas has come forward to make war with Israel, thats an open secret . We should look at the reasons why people are raising the Arms ? If Israel hadn't occupied Palestinian Lands and killed its people at daily basis , there would have been no such group such as Hamas [ Resistance] . I wonder why UN is not sending peacekeepers in Gaza and West Bank ?
