I need to tweak my design, the cat at the bottom will be covered by all the info.

I guess that's what you get attempting something when half asleep...

Pretty much the same. Once you've read much of it, you've read it all. There are far too many people here ready to jump on someone to get their minute in the spotlight. I prefer to stay right here, or in the Short Stories forum where it is one of the last few friendly bastions.

Plus I love creating, it does sound a little egotistical, but it is a real buzz when someone is really happy with your work and you see it elsewhere on the forum, and think "I made that."

You all are putting in awesome work!

Well, not so much the symbol (although it is cool) as much as the Latin phrase worked into a sig line which sort of follows the same theme as where I was headed with the background / avatar stuff. Complimentary if you will.

'Strong and Free' is what we all are (for now anyway). The pursuit of knowledge and the defense of Truth will keep us that way. See how this all kind of fits together. Distinct and separate thoughts contributing to a common theme.

Quick question about the writers forum. I know there are a few Writers in here so I'm curious...

Can I post a short story and keep going with the story...It would take many posts and maybe a few threads...Is that okay by T&C? To keep a story going for a while or is it strickly short stories?

If I'm not clear enough let me know. Had a few beers.

Well, I'm probably about the furthest thing from a moderator here (but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once), but it seems to me if you posted a short story, and didn't finish it, you could just say that very thing at the end. Maybe something like "....to be continued". Then, when you wanted to add a new chapter or whatever, you could just reply to the original post with the addition, thus keeping the story alive.

Just my two pennies...
