Oh, how I loved that movie! Gerard Butler did Sparta proud!
Spartan Symbol:

And here is my take on your avatar, or how it should be proudly presented:

If you want any changes , or a different picture. Please let me know.

After reading some of these posts, I'm getting braver.
I may have an avatr yet! (Still trying to understand what I've read; should have finished reading 'Computer For Dummies' first, I think.)

These people will make your avatar, if you don't feel you can swing it, like me.

Cody designed mine, and BigFatFurryTexan even helped me get it loaded because my computer has a glitch in getting it uploaded correctly.

Great people on this thread to help in any way they can. Hats off to all of them!

I leave decision to the viewer

The problem was that those were too modern like ripped off from Sears shelf
what gladiators used was like this
subligaculum

You might want to share something what would give folks a direction

Nugget means food nugget or gold nugget ?

Thanks for the link on dollukka.

It's very quiet here tonight.

No requests, eh?

Tomorrow I might only come online late, we are going over to my in-laws to celebrate.
Yaaay !
(She says sarcastically.) But it's okay, because we won't stay long, just pop in have a couple of cheers and toasts and then back home.

Just giving you idea .. just for you
You are welcome

instructions:
"Replace the head with Gerald Butler" Butler´s head in separate layer
Dupiicate GB head and make head tones to match body tones using brightness / contrast and hue saturation
use layer opacity if needed
flatten image
duplicate layer.. adjustments and desaturate it
duplicate top layer .. adjustments tab and invert.. turn this layer in color dodge mode
now use gaussian blur and about 1-2 to get nice line details
merge top 2 layer together
turn them to multiple mode.. duplicate layer if needed
flatten image
if needed use texturize in filter menu.. if there is too much.. go edit and reduce opacity ..

go go go and make your own ...

if you need i might send you my photocartoon action when im finished with it

Just thought I'd drop in a quick line, as it is only a few hours to 2014 here in Aust, to wish everyone here a happy and awesome new years, no matter which corner of the planet you hail from.

This thread has been awfully good therapy to a lot of us, and though it will be sad to see the old girl given her final send off soon, bigger and better things are just around the corner with the new 2014 thread.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!
