finally....they are playing again.

But you sure don't wanna screw around with lightning.

I don't wanna dig up the other thread....but I have made several glyphs so far. I ended up having to go in to bail out a peer at work today, so I didn't get as much time as I wanted.

But this is not that difficult thus far. I haven't tried to render out a font file, though.

Yup. Especially high school here in w. tex. All those brass instruments up in those metal bleachers.....the tubas are always at the top. yikes.

But even in the pros, it is more about the fans and the folks dealing with technology.

True....lightning kinda scares me....

I always wondered why they say that you shouldn't stand under a tree in an electrical storm.
Until it hit the tree next door....went from the bottom of the tree....exploded out near the top...and went to ground in at least two spots dozens of yards away.
Lots of large wood chips littered a rather large area around the tree....in our yard...across the street.
I have no memory of the thunder

There was a one-hour delay in tonight's game for lightning during the first quarter. I'm not at all sure what they would do if the lightning went on for an extended period... that would be interesting.

Man, it was a great storm. It went on over our house for about an hour after they went back to playing... all the real activity was East of Seattle.

That is rather nice. The smaller text on bottom is a bit harder to read, but I like it quite a bit.

Hey BTS Creators!!

I've made a couple of temporary Avatars to advertise a Short Story I'm putting up as part of this month's writer's contest. I'm wondering if you think they could use any cleaning up or anything...I've got nothing but lame cut&paste Mac "preview" software to work with, but I did the best I could.

What do you think? Help? The Time Diva is all pixilated due to resizing... I know you all are extra-busy now, so no sweat if you don't have time...

FWIW, what you made looks good. It isn't like you need to make changes....but if you would like, I would be happy to help you with them.

I am almost wrapped with this stage of my smiley project and might enjoy a change (and not working in black and white line drawings).

Thanks!! I'm looking to put up a temporary Avatar (the lady of the lake will return after I've advertised the story).
I would like to use both of the ones I posted to catch the eye - the first one needs help with the "Time" part - a basic redo. I have the elements, I think...

I will also be putting art in the post. I've been having fun, but I'm not awesome at it at all. I have a full pic I collaged together that I pulled the second one from:



My lamest, cheesiest one is this, which would be within the post of the story: A steampunk scientist in an Oval Portal with blue/purple/white lightning.



The rest are little things. I'm glad you like what I did - would love a little help making it better. Let me know what you think...And of course I can wait until tonight - I am not quite done with the story yet!

Yes sir.

I have all the graphics converted to glyphs. If SO isn't getting tired of waiting on me, I shouldn't be far from completing it.
