That image reminds me of the Avenue of Honour near Ballarat Victoria, right here in Aust. It is something like 6kms of trees planted after WW2 by returning soldiers.

I love driving into Ballarat down this road every time I visit.

ETA; Great job on that rose avatar. The image is just spot on and really flows.

welcome back!!! I haven't been as active. I have had (and continue to have) some side stuff I am doing on top of my regular 70 hour a week job. But if things go well, I will likely soon be an author with a published historical journal paper.

In any event....
