Wow, you're a bit keener than the average shmoe. Although I have always regaurded it to be common sence. I know a guy who uses duct tape, to keep his legs on. Claims to have been with "Over 100 people."

AIDS was first discovered around 1981.
Scientist believe that it came from Green Monkeys from South Africa.
These Green Monkeys had a disease called SIV(Simian(monkey)Immunodeficiency Virus........
This virus is similar to the virus called HIV(Humane Immune Deficiency Virus........) HIV causes AIDS.

But doubts remains on how the disease was transferred from monkey to human.

Scientists think that, a human may have ate an infected monkey and got the disease that way. The process of viruses passing from animal to human is called zoonosis.
They also think that it could have been a polio experiment that went wrong.
