Chat wont work and when I click "chat" it resets all my tabs...?

Ok this has happened since i can remember and it is driving me nuts.

I was in chat and went to another tab and well all my tabs reset. This ALWAYS happens when I have chat open and FB. If I have just chat open it happens and if i have just FB it happens. I don't get it. I have been told it's Java Script...

I have updated everything so it has nothing to do with updates. I have reset cookies and all that fun stuff and it still happens. I use Safari and I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 and it's up to date and no I will not download another browser. I"m an Apple snob and love my Safari It should work on Safari unless there are Safari/Java issues I'm not aware of. IF so please tell me Mac people!

So now I can't get chat to open period. When I click chat it just gives me a blank white screen, usually it asks me permission for something then bam I'm in chat. Now it just stays white and resets ALL my tabs again.

What in the world....does anyone else have this problem?


This also happens if I click a video on youtube, not all vids but some.

I'm at a loss because I just don't know what in the world is going on.

Help... I need my chat I have no life and my chat peeps are like my family. I must know how Tinkers pie coms out!!! lol

Ok looked but i don't use Chrome or FF and won't use either. I will only use Safari.

dolphin is awesome for ios products u should give that a try better than safari imo

What is dolphin? I have a Macbook Pro.

Ahh googled it. It says it's for phones and iPad type devices....

Mblah, try updating adobe flash for safari(If you haven't yet). Your youtube problem makes me think you have a flash issue. Hopefully that fixes the issue. (You may also have to check Java and Flash permissions in Safari's settings.)
