Very interesting sadly i believe the government already know's of extraterrestrial life and even if they don't we would never be notified if they found it unless a ship landed in a major city.

What do you think light is?

It is exactly the same as "radio waves" except on a different frequency - if you're talking about visible light, for example, it is a higher frequency than what we call "radio waves" but still exactly the same - EM radiation.
