If any of you have ever read up on it, the name of the action in Arabic is:

Tayy al-Arḍ (Arabic: طيّ الأرض‎ "folding up of the earth") is the name for thaumaturgical teleportation in the mystical form of Islamic religious and philosophical tradition. The concept has been expressed as "traversing the earth without moving"; some have termed it "moving by the earth being displaced under one's feet". It is a concept widely familiar to the Sunnis, Shī‘īs and Sufis, each group having a different interpretation on it.
This is also found in the New Testament of the Bible and in Hebrew is rendered... to respond the Earth to wander

This obviously requires no tech in hand, but some claim it is triggered vocally, although no instruction on how to set a destination are given. Does anyone else have info on the subject?

Sounds like remote viewing to me.

( traversing the earth without moving )

Almost a perfect description.

I'm sure DARPA could give us an ear-full of information on it.

Which brings me to my point, that if this were actually possible it seems to me like someone would be wearin' it out by now, eh?
Billionaires still have their jets. We still use rockets to launch into space.

I came across this recently and commented on it;

The name Machpelah means folded. In the Zohar we are told that the field and cave rests on a 2 fold area namely the world above and world below. Thus through this spiritual gate all souls pass when they leave this world

The sense there is in terms of a fold/link between the terrestial plane and the Underworld, or the entrance into a mystical Garden of Eden.

I was wondering if this is some kind of portal/warp tech, that is built in on the planet. Focus on where to go and speak the word. Imagine if there are beings on the earth using this. Kind of like the Adjustment Bureau.
