Taliban execute woman accused of adultery
Iran to execute woman for adultery
Yes, I do believe it.
Try this.... Google search 'man executed for adultery'. You will get two hits for a story about a man in Saudi Arabia....but he was also charged with 'witchcraft'. They aren't backwards are they?

stoning for adultery is really rare and there is no difference between man and woman. more over that needs at least four Eyewitnesses and all of them go to court and complain ! so that it can be regarded that there is an illegal sex in public. so it is really rare and approximately impossible !
moreover there is no stoning in Koran ! Muslims consider that a law just because it is a law in Judaism and Chiristianity and there is no evidence that it has been expired by God. it is not fair that chiristians and jews come and condemn muslims because they believe in a law of Judaism and Chiristianity !!!!!!!
yes I have seen people who say gays are executed in Iran or ..... but as a matter of fact all of the cases are rape. there are people who get executed for rape and especially when there is a private complainant.

and Taliban ! they are just some radical terrorists that are oppressing people, that is it !

Christianity takes hits all the time for being patriarchal.

I think it is time that the Muslims take some hits too. They are extremely patriarchal, to the point that their religious customs are unacceptable in modern and civilized societies.

Let me remind you that the video that I linked to of the woman being executed by the Taliban in Afghanistan happened in July 2012. Before we went to war there, the Taliban were THE GOVERNMENT in that country, not just some radical terrorists.

They do, in effect, run things in western Pakistan.

Here is a link to the story of the 16 year old girl that was hung in Iran.

Atefah Sahaaleh: Wikipedia

More links, if some won't accept the wikipedia story:
BBC
Dailycaller.com

She was convicted for ‘crimes against chastity’, based on her admission, obtained through torture, that she repeatedly had sex with a 51-year-old ex-revolutionary guard turned taxi-driver Ali Darabi, a married man with children.[1] She kept the relationship,[2] which lasted over three years, a secret from both her family and the authorities. However, while in prison, she finally told her grandmother, saying that afterwards she could only walk on all fours because of the pain.[3] In the court the judge was Haji Rezai. As Atefah realised she was losing her case, she removed her hijab, an act seen as a severe contempt of the court, and argued that Ali Darabi should be punished, not she. She even removed her shoes and hit the judge with them.[4] The judge later sentenced her to death.

Go to the link, read the story.

Tell us all how acceptable this is. Tell us all about how you support Sharia Law. Official law handed down by a court in Iran.

you are not reading what i said. I support sharia law. I dont support what happened in iran. It disgusts me.
And you must be open to objectively know whats sharia law before demonising it with examples that are not sharia.

Hi.
I think they call Iran an Islamic republic, don't they?

Wikipedia: Iran (Officially, The Islamic Republic of Iran)

The Guardian Council comprises twelve jurists including six appointed by the Supreme Leader. The others are elected by the Parliament from among the jurists nominated by the Head of the Judiciary.[160][161] The Council interprets the constitution and may veto Parliament. If a law is deemed incompatible with the constitution or Sharia (Islamic law), it is referred back to Parliament for revision.[

See that? their laws must be compatible with Sharia.

russia calls itself a democracy, is it? There is no country that is following sharia. Taliban tried, saudi arabia has sharia for poor only, the rich are above it.
.
Iran is struggling to balance and counteract the western influence by being outright cruel. But cruelty cant be justified. Ever the supreme leader cant go above a God made law. Thats the whole point of sharia that humans dont have the intelligence to make laws because they cant comprehend the effects of their actions.
So a law that says a teen can have sex without marriage and a law that kills that teen, both are wrong.

If you support Islamic rule of a country then you support all the bigotry and backwards antics that go with it. It's just that simple. 'Sharia law' brings with it unfair laws and unfair actions against women, homosexuals, and non-muslims. So you do indeed support bigotry and mistreatment of non-muslims.

Qur'an (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176).

Qur'an (2:282) - "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women

Qur'an (24:31) - Women are to lower their gaze around men, so they do not look them in the eye.

Qur'an (2:223) - "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..."

Qur'an (4:24) and Qur'an (33:50) - A man is permitted to take women as sex slaves outside of marriage.

Under muslim rule of law .... women would be punished for looking a man in the eye ... a husband would be able to rape a wife ... a woman's voice in court wouldn't count as much as a man's voice ... men could have sex slaves ....

Sure .. Islamic law .. Sharia law ... all us women wouldn't mind at all being dragged back 1500 years. All that misogyny and all that bigotry and all that injustice ... something to look forward to. :shk:

you'l tell me what i support?? Can you try to expand your view and look at sharia without imagining yourself under it each time you read about it. Yes under sharia women have a dress code but so do men. Men are visual and compare what they see, if they see chicks outside they may not appreciate the wife at home.(Men are also commanded to lower their gaze in islam). Add to that no punishment for adultery and soon there would be a mistress or at least a slowly breaking emotional relationship. Is that happening under secular law??
You call sharia misogynist, who is suffering the most under secular law?? Who has to look good to be accepted? Who has to work and also take care of family and yet be in danger of being left for a younger woman? Who is working in porn and prostitution to give men what they want? Who tolerates the leers while just walking on a street?
In islam women are pearls and we dont throw them to swines!

about the case you mentioned there are some problems:
1-court was not sure about the age of the girl it has said from 16 or 21 so there is a question. executing under 18 is contrary to law.
2-it is said that she was mentally retarded. I think this is true. because no normal human do such things and go to court many times and confess ! executing a mentally retarded person is again contrary to law !
3-that girl was in prison because of complaining of it's own family !!! unfortunately she should have sent to bedlam not prison ! again another breaking the law !!
4-she got executed only within four months without any time for revision ! it is odd !! and again contrary to law !

because it is a little old I do not know what really happened to judge but I think the judge should have been executed too because he made a very very big mistakes.

but this does not mean that such breaking the laws are usual in Iran's courts. media find such rare cases and mix them with their lies and other false cases for political issues !

they are lies. definitely they are lies. do you know why !? because media say they were executed just for being gay or lesbian !!!
this is not true ! not at all !! I am speaking honestly !!!
I have no time to check all of them but I have seen such propaganda many times. most of them are executed for rape or murder or smuggling drugs beyond a limit.
yes there are some rare cases that judges do a mistake. and there are always enough time to revision especially for execution.
no one comes and says hey I had a fornication or homosexual sex last night please execute me !!!!
and no one has a right to spy on private life of people.
even if someone comes and confess in a court they can not execute him they should let him go unless four times it comes and confess ! which wise man do this !!
such harsh laws for sexual crimes are not for implementing. they are for preventing such crimes and to keep such crimes in the private life of people no in the public.
religions are for better life.

from John's gospel

8:1but Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 8:2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 8:3And the scribes and the Pharisees bring a woman taken in adultery; and having set her in the midst, 8:4they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act. 8:5Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such: what then sayest thou of her? 8:6And this they said, trying him, that they might have whereof to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 8:7But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8:8And again he stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground. 8:9And they, when they heard it, went out one by one, beginning from the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman, where she was, in the midst. 8:10And Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto her, Woman, where are they? did no man condemn thee? 8:11And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, Neither do I condemn thee: go thy way; from henceforth sin no more

In islam women are pearls and we dont throw them to swines!

Are the pearls allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia?
No.

Women are forbidden to drive in Saudi Arabia per a 1990 fatwa (religious ruling)

Is their testimony accepted in court as equal to a man?
No.

The status of women's testimony in Islam is disputed. Some Islamic jurists have held that certain types of testimony by women may not be accepted.

Source

Wow! Muslim women are so lucky that they are considered pearls. Think of how they might be treated otherwise.

I read your post and am tempted to say that I could use your method and say this.....

Taxation in the United States is very rare and seldom encountered. If you show me a case of taxation happening, I will say that it is just a rare case, and that the media are blowing it out of proportion. In fact, income taxes didn't exist before the 20th century, so they don't exist now. Other people just make all this up.

No .. it's not lies just because you want them to be. The truth is the truth. The law in Iran is that people are murdered by the Islamic laws there simply because they are homosexual. That's the truth. Deal with it.

That is how innocent people are treated under Sharia ... and it's disgusting.

Yes under sharia women have a dress code but so do men.

NO ONE HAS ANY BUSINESS IMPOSING A DRESS CODE ON OTHERS.
It's absurd. It's dragging humanity back 1500 years.

Add to that no punishment for adultery and soon there would be a mistress or at least a slowly breaking emotional relationship.

Adultry is between the married couple and the 'other person'. It is NOT the business of the government. It's not any of YOUR business. It's not any of MY business.

And Islam continually blames the woman in rape even when the man is the perp.
They call the rape victim an adulterer and an instigator.
The victim is raped .. but then gets whipped or stoned by the courts.
And many are killed by their families in 'honor killings'.
It's misogyny and it's SICK SICK SICK.

You call sharia misogynist,

It's OBVIOUSLY misogynistic. To say otherwise is absurd.

who is suffering the most under secular law??

Secular law is the only fair law. Everyone has a right to believe or disbelieve anything they want. People have a right to dismiss ignorance and myth and not have it shoved down their throats by a bunch of hyper-religious fanatics (who have it all wrong but are too blinded by their cult of choice to be able to see straight).

Who suffers the most under SHARIA law? WOMEN. HOMOSEXUALS. NON MUSLIMS.
Women can't even have their voice heard in a courtroom like a man can.
It's disgusting and it's archaic.

In islam women are pearls and we dont throw them to swines!

What a load of bull! Women are treated subservient. They are slaves to the men.
They can't be heard like a man in court. They can't drive in many countries.
Many aren't allowed educations and little girls are shot in the head and have FATWAs
declared against them for wanting to go to school to learn to read.
They can be beaten by 'morals police' for not having a freak'n headscarf on or for
showing a wrist or ankle. That's not treating women 'like pearls' .. that's treating
them worse than dogs.

:shk: NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE UNDER SHARIA OR ANY OTHER CULT LAWS.
To force that on people is the same as enslaving them.
Like I said ... set the calendars back 1500 years ...
