No. Nobody is responsible but the person who decided to kill themselves. The internet is full of crazy stuff, and people should be prepared for that if they are on the internet.

Well, turn that around a minute then and also ask yourself, If I don't share pertinent information with those that I care about outside our immediate family about emergency preparedness and current world events, then am I responsible if something bad DOES happen and they die as a result?

People need to be responsible and make their own choices. Why not make any and all available knowledge accessible to everyone? Most people I know don't spend an ounce of thought on their own to such topics. What is wrong with having a conversation with people about it? I don't personally believe that the world will cease to exist on Dec 21, but I do see the writing on the wall with what is happening to our world. Be it war or natural disaster, it would do everyone good to have a few extra things on hand. Conversations that I have had with people at least seem to help rather than hinder.

Not true.

Nancy Lieder in 2003 went on the radio and told her followers to kill their pets and children. Some of those followers, so enamored with her and brainwashed, did just that (Lieder herself even killed her pets) she, by virtue of having control over their thoughts by virtue of having an emotional hold over them, is directly responsible for those deaths as she suggested they perform them.

So yes they are responsible, just like the Heaven's Gate cult people just like Georgetown, any time you have that kind of emotional connection and can use the power of suggestion to guide someone to doing something, you have some culpability in the act.

Boy oh boy. Actually ever single person on earth has a right to express their beliefs, right or wrong, and share, and not believe official source, and research things. I'd rather be wrong in my own empowerment than right standing under an authoritarian flag believing Murder Incorporated's manipulations and lies. Empowerment means we search, and speak.

And each and every person is responsible for their own actions, including suicide. You are only responsible for things in your power to change and don't drive other people's lives.

To take what you're saying to an extreme, the Government would click its heals and jump for joy and shout hallelujah!!!!: They're regulating themselves now. Refusing to research and seek what is being hidden from them, or join others doing it, and sharing ideas, exploring all possibilities because someone may faint with fear. We've won!

Sounds like Big Brother has done its work, lets all go into highly controlled police state so no ones stray thoughts, and doubts in the Authorities could cause another to faint.

Yes a wacko gave an order to do something bad. Well, there are wacko's, we elect alot of them, we buy their products and make them kings, though some dwell amongst us too.

She bears some responsibility and those foolish enough to listen to her.

But no one else researching any topic does.

Remember that that relaxation always takes place just before the storm hits. Just at that point where the wind shifts and heads in, a super quiet occurs. Then the fury of the storm hits.

That relaxation you feel might be because you know your ready. @012 is not the end of the world, but the economic climate of the U.S. cannot maintain.

Good on you for being ready.

This is good advice and I thank you for it. I will maintain a decent stock pile JIC.

I wasn't really referring to people who specifically tell others to kill themselves. They should be held accountable if they are specifically telling people to do it. As for the people who are merely making doomsday predictions and talking about Nibiru and all that, no, they shouldn't be held responsible unless they are blatantly telling people to kill themselves.

That girl who killed herself in England in the summer because she read too much of this stuff and got scared... it's nobody's fault but hers. Nobody told her to do it. She just read one too many doom porn websites and went mental.

Riddle me this, OP

Show me 1 post on here of someone saying that Dec 21st 2012 is actually the End of this World.

Please point out 1 thread where someone is promoting this with conviction and sincerity that the world will end in destruction!

I see none.

So whom are you trying to blame if someone is not too bright and decided that on their own merits, that yes 2012 is the end so I'll just kill myself?

I think you need to look at the MSM/T.V./Hollywood for this blame. Not ATS

My first thought was absolutely! Then was thinking about personal responsibility which doesn't seem to exist much in the US anymore.....and then after watching a news report about a 40 year old man shooting his girlfriend in the back because he believed that zombies were going to attack and kill everyone, and that they were created by a military experiment gone wrong. I am back to you are absolutely at least partially responsible due to the fact that the world is full of stupid people..... Maybe stupid is too harsh of a word. I guess mentally challenged would be more accurate. It is wrong for people to prey and terrify the mentally weak. And most of the spread of these falsities are for profit.

Too bad ignorance isn't painful!

And before I forget, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

There is too much blame in our society, and not enough critical thinking - and I will blame our educational system for that - but concerned and caring parents can overcome this.

Anyway, there is so much garbage on the internet, many here have experienced this first hand when it comes to conspiracy theories and hidden knowledge - using your own discernment is a must and a key faculty to finding your way to the truth.

Blaming is a weakness and just an excuse to not take responsibility, do you think our society would be better or worse off if more people took responsibility for their actions and stopped blaming others?

People need to critically think, use discernment, and take responsibility for their actions.

If I were out "gunning" for somebody, making it appear to look like a suicide is a great way to get away with it. But harder than you think.

If Joe Blo reads any conspiracy information, either on a forum or the plethora of websites out there both promoting and denying ALL our topics. And goes to the garage and fills his drawers for the last time. The responsible party is the deceased. Period.

There are more than a few videos of folks killing themselves. We each face our death alone.

I stand by that in terms of murder, natural causes, accidents AND suicide.

Note the nurse who committed suicide after she let the radio morons through.
Actions create outcomes that cannot be reversed in many cases.

If you are I tried to access medical info on someone, is that not illegal?

Is that okay if you are media?

We like to sit back and say we are not responsible for the well being off others. But is that not what
a stable society is built on?
Or should we just heed the words of scrooge at this holiday seasons, a quote we find detestable while watching the show and yet seems much mimicked in this thread...

If they'd rather die, then they had better do it and decrease the surplus population.
Good night, gentlemen.
