Ok ATS

media manipulation - Neuro-Linguistic Programing - sourcery! (useful search terms to learn more)

i know the majority of memebers here are well aware of how mainstream media can lie/manipulate and distort!
this thread is mainly intended for the lurkers and newbies who may not be aware of how mainstream media works.
this is not a 9/11 thread
the video is to demonstrate how real "sourcery" is used
to the normal every day citizen the news is 100% correct and true, the news guy cant be lying!
i mean the vast majority of people get up, go to work, come home and flick on the box
feet up and chill
and who can blame them?
so all they see is a quick 10, 20 minuite news update and thats that
so if they were to see this on the news, they of course are going to think the guy being interviewed is a complete nut job, end of.
so im hoping this thread may wake up a few people that happen to view the videos in this thread
even if its 2 or 3 people, its 2 or 3 more that are more aware!

here are the videos

if anyone has more on media manipulation then please feel free to add to this

Here is another example of how the media manipulate
from this thread Julian Assange on CNN

shes constantly interrupting and trying to sway the conversation!

this comment on youtube by urcritic nailed it

A brilliant illustration of how mass media news outlets shift focus from the important issues to banal, tabloid style interrogations. "Ecuador officials say you have a lung infection, [...] is that true?" - Someone should correct Erin Burnett's Wikipedia page because it mistakenly states that she's a journalist.

I think everyone is tapped out from posting in the other threads.

Not much to say other than, not surprised.

I mean, 99% of the people on ATS come here because they avoid TV lies. SO what you are stating is already known in ATS, and its mentioned in every other thread, and MSM get scrapped if their ever get mentioned or used as source lolFoxlol... so even the newbies will get the idea in a week or so after lurking in a thread or two.

Funny you should mention this topic.

I just started reading Trust Me, I'm Lying: Confessions of a Media Manipulator by Ryan Holiday. It's a pretty good read so far, and very revealing.

Here's the link to the homepage: Trust Me, I'm Lying

I was going create a thread about the book/this topic and the implications of such, but as long as it's being discussed, might as well recommend Mr. Holiday's book now.
