That's a great idea and it has already been suggested, I can't remember by whom though. It was mentioned either in this thread or the Ohio sinkhole thread.

I won't start the thread because I do not want to steal anyone's thunder but if you read through the Ohio thread perhaps you can suggest whoever mentioned it to author a thread on it.

Wondering if a thread about sinkholes occuring in general may be a good idea? Although, to many and we may get lost in shuffle.

Wish I had the time to keep up with a sinkhole thread, but this time of the year is busy.

If someone starts one please post the link here so that we can keep up to date.

We do have a Bayou Corne sinkhole thread which has day by day updates from the hole.

Actually, some of you are quite juvenile in the way you "wish" for this type of doom.

The threads, the attitude, etc.

ATS is truly Doom Central at this point. Perhaps the mods should change the site name to reflect this?

Been an uptick in movement at the sinkhole last couple days.....hope New Madrid isn't getting restless.
