"We are spending nature's capital faster than it can regenerate," said WWF chief Claude Martin, releasing the 40-page study. "We are running up an ecological debt which we won't be able to pay off unless governments restore the balance between our consumption of natural resources and the Earth's ability to renew them."

World Wildlife Fund Report

Since we've exceeded Earth's capacity to sustain mankind, what are our best options to save us?

If this were true, why are we still going along at a reasonable level?
Sounds awfully suspicious to me.
Where do they come up with this stuff? Is this another way to get the US to conserve while part of the world runs amuk? (ie deforestation in South America)
