This has been talked about on ATS for years. WW3 starting in the middle east. Surprised? Not me. It's all part of the big shew, as Ed Sullivan would say. It's been planned for years. Now that they have their guy in the WH for his second term, it's go time.

Well look for Egypt and Turkey to join and we have Ezekiel 38:39 on our hands. Strange, the exact countries mentioned are about to set right another prophecy. Oh dear.

I hope this doesn't happen, really I do.... But it's not looking good at all. Magog will attack the holy land and when it does we're all in for a massive shock.

You guys are aware that Ehud Barak ( Israeli Minister of Defense ) resigned today as well as Syrian electronic early warning station M-1 was destroyed on the Golan Heights today all so. This reshapes the entire order of battle for the IDF.

The Russians as well as the Iranians are good at brinkmanship, but neither can hold a candle to Eretz Yisrael
and its intelligence services. There is a much deeper meaning in the motto " By way of deception " than most will ever understand.

Can't see it happening in the near future. Turkey are running with NATO and Egypt are on the fence right now. If anything, Egypt will eventually align with the East I think.

It will only happen if Israel make a move. Until that happens, business as usual in the Middle East. Iran will not directly attack Israel, neither will Russia or any other country unless Israel makes the initial strike.

Meh. Maybe it's giving them too much credit but I can't see anyone being dumb enough to send over a cargo ship full of Iranian weaponry to Gaza given the current situation and considering the likeliness of being spotted with current technology. In any case, I'd say its a diversion...

"HEY WORLD LOOK AT THIS REALLY MYSTERIOUS SHIP WE HAVE OVER HERE."

*sneaks in weaponry over land instead*

Hi everybody...

I was just wondering if we all missed out on this hair in the pudding.

Arafat

If Arafat was poisoned, this could be a major trigger? Don't you think? Maybe all these tactics are preparation for the inevitable?

A nine-month investigation by Al Jazeera found elevated levels of the substance in Arafat’s final personal effects. The findings, which were broadcast in July, suggest that there was also a high level of polonium in Arafat’s body when he died, raising fresh questions about what killed the longtime Palestinian leader.

Thank you for the link

There is no mention of the cargo ship that the Israelis mentioned, but this may be related. In my opinion it would be smarter for Iran to re-arm Sudan as there would be less chance for conflict and Sudan is a great spot to launch attacks on Israel if needed.

Perhaps these ships are to escort the cargo ship (if it exists) just in case Israel tries anything funny in international waters. The only way Israel would have international support for a strike on an Iranian cargo ship would be if it were to cross the "blockade".

So it would be much smarter to bypass Gaza for the moment and head to Sudan.

I wonder if Israel will use this visit by the Iranians into Gaza as a reason to break the ceasefire, they could easily claim that this envoy was a cover to smuggle weapons into Gaza, and they could also kill some Iranians while at it.

This is getting interesting. I hope Israel doesn't use this visit as an excuse to do the things that I have just mentioned because I could see them doing this due to their previous actions.

It could be dangerous... A dead Iranian diplomat on a solidarity mission would legitimize enforcing the resistance forces or even move military and equipment closer to Israel. They can destroy all the early warning bases they want, but with footsoldiers on their doorstep the result would be less than ideal.

This certainly will cause a ton of unease for Israel. Lets hope nothing bad happens while they are there.

Congress quit using it's Veterans Affairs funding to take care of America's veterans and has been using the money instead to build +100 Hospitals in former Soviet Territories. You can find many youtube videos of people from those former Soviet Territories now enjoying their Japanese ATV's...that Americans used to be able to afford.

America/Israel's been spending huge sums to take down Russia in a future battle. Russia's the last bastion on Earth that refuses to bow down to full blooded Jewish people and recognize ZION. The RULERS of Earth.

....and that's why Obama's TRIPLED the backlog of people waiting to get VA Disability checks....and has been screwing over America's Veterans the last few years. Money's being spent elsewhere's to "buy friends".

The Democratic Party in America has fooled Russia into thinking they are friends....but they aren't. Look where the money's been going Russia. They're plotting against you.

This is interesting, indeed! So often these things turn into leaders having a ton of bark, but they stay the bite just at the right time. I think with recent fighting and tensions being as high as they are, we are going to see something major come out of this if the missiles make it to Gaza or even Sudan. It may not even happen straight away, but wherever they end up, they will be burning a hole in the pocket of whoever has them.

I believe what the poster is refering to is that they are exhuming his body to see if he was poisoned. It is rumored that he may have been poisoned with polonium.

A couple announcements over the last few days have given me reason to believe that the possibility of things escalating are on the rise. This is not a "doom" thread where I am saying "the end is near", I just wanted to point out a couple developments that I think are somewhat related.

I AM NOT CHEERING FOR THE START OF WW3!

The first piece of news that I want to share is about Russia sending warships to the Gaza coast. They say these are for evacuation purposes but perhaps that is just an excuse. I will elaborate why in the next portion of the thread. Here is one of many articles discussing the Russian ships near Gaza. I have seen articles claim that there are as many as six.

Russia Sends Warships Off Coast Of Gaza In Response To Israel-Palestine Tensions

Russian warships have dropped anchor off the coast of Gaza in the case that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalates, a Russian Navy Command source told Voice of Russia.

The other interesting development that I would like to point out is an article from RT that discusses the possibility of Israel striking an Iranian ship en route to Gaza. The original report is claimed to come from the "Sunday Times".

I am not here to say who is right or wrong, and which side has the moral high ground to defend themselves over the other as this has been debated vigorously in various threads and debating which side you support will only derail the thread. I am open to discussing this in the thread but I am not taking sides in my OP as I would l ike to remain as balanced as possible as I present this information but will make sure to clarify my position on this as the thread proceeds.

Israel may strike at ship allegedly carrying Iranian rockets to Gaza – report

Israeli spy satellites spotted a cargo vessel in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas that was allegedly Gaza-bound and carrying arms, the Sunday Times reported.

“Regardless of the ceasefire agreement, we will attack and destroy any shipment of arms to Gaza once we have spotted it,” an Israeli defense official told the newspaper.

The vessel reportedly began its voyage last week just as Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire ending eight days of violence in Gaza, in which over 150 Palestinians died. The cargo is believed to include Fajr-5 rockets, similar to those used by Hamas in the conflict, and Shahab-3 ballistic missiles.

The ship is set to travel through the Red Sea, Sudan and Egypt, according to the Sunday Times report. The newspaper also cited Israeli officials speculating that Iran could be moving longer-range ballistic missiles into Sudan, which could be aimed at Israel from the African country.

If Israel were to attack an Iranian ship en route to Gaza while Russian ships are in the area who knows what might happen. Part of me believes that Russia agrees with Iran when they would like the Gazans to possess the ability to defend themselves.

From the Israeli point of view, I would not want Iran shipping missiles into Gaza as increase in Iranian hardware would be much more effective than the limited supply they currently have, and would cause some difficulty for Israel to intercept missiles if escalations were to begin once again.

I might be reaching here but these two developments are certainly worth keeping an eye on. If Israel were to attack an Iranian ship, especially in international waters, I believe that things would get ugly and spiral into a wider conflict which would involve many regional and non regional players.

As I said earlier in this post, I am not taking sides right now. I will clarify my position on certain aspects as we discuss the situation. I invite anyone to share their thoughts, including which side they support, and for which reasons but let's please keep it civil.

I am very interested to see what our fellow members think about these developments.

Let the games begin

Well it sure sound like you’re cheering for WWIII.

I mean you make no sense what so ever on all your assessments. Russia and the US are like brothers competing for attention. The parent is Israel and the US has been the star child for recent time. China is Russia’s bitch , so the two main military powers are Russia and the US,, not china and it will never be china. China is all hype.

Iran is desperate and will do anything to gain attention(similar to a poor boy crying for help desperate for someone to here him) … Why, because they know they are part of a very few who do not have a central banking system privatized by the banking cartels that need Iran’s resources to continue to back there(cartels) currency with the value of the oil standard. Iran knows very well there days are numbered and are desperate to expose the truth about Israel’s agenda and true intentions of global dominance thru the disguise of corporate/banking cartels. Iran has no friends (only Syria, Venezuela and Argentina), what the hell do you expect them to do? What would you do if had very few friends(weak friends to say the least) , your own faith wants you dead(Sunni’s hate Persians)and you have no one to sell your only valued export [oil].. Their backs are against the wall and they will eventually do what the Japanese empire did ..[forced to grow as a military state which eventually will be tricked(by commerce) into thinking and doing a pearl harbor style attack].

As for Egypt. They were ,seemed ,as a direct threat to Israel after Morsi was elected ,but like all election(including ours), all are a sham, and quickly Morsi succumbed to the evil lure of cash. On Dec,19th 2012 ,Morsi will be handed a 4.9billion$ loan from the IMF. That’s right the IMF ,similar to the FED or the World Bank. Fiat currency rules this world and as long as it(cash) exist , people like the Zionists(doesn’t necessarily mean only Jews, there are many Zionists who are not Jews: they are called NEOcons) will have the last word in everything we see hear and touch. So I doubt Egypt will ever try to do anything stupid as long as Morsi is in power , which will be while due to his recent power grab,,, basically he is another of the hundreds of dictators under the Zionist payroll.

The poor people in Gaza are no threat to Israel and have never been . Israel uses the Palestinians as target practice to make sure they are up to speed with warfare or whatever. The recent conflict was instigated for two reasons: The Obama administration is currently weak do to cabinet transitions and Israel needed to see if its Irondome would work before going to war with Iran. Simple as that.

Israel will not go to war with Iran until Iran is bloody desperate +The latest version of the Irondome is complete + and Israeli elections are fully complete. Meaning sometime in March are as late as August will the attacks commence on Iran.

You talk about WWIII as if you crave it. First there wont be a WWIII( in the sense that there is a super power as an equal to the US to pose a real threat to our lives) Second, technically there will be a World War , not with Iran but with our own way of life, our freedom and true privacy. And you will know its happening when your internet will be free no more.

Control means money and money means control.
