As it reads it sounds like a good policy, it is the applications and use that can be a problem.

People would still (many do) believe that the 9/11 consulate attack in Benghazi was the result of outrage over a youtube video IF some on the inside had not leaked the truth, or at least some of it.

There was no threat to the national security in that case, it was a presidency trying to win an election by rewriting the truth.

There have been leaks coming from the administration for the past 4 years, and now they get a bee up their collective bonnets, and decide to do something about it.

In my humble the memorandum is just proof of what many of us have been saying all along.

The current admin is corrupt as they come,and they are hiding plenty.

Having dual citizenship is an automatic disqualifier from getting a security clearance in the US military.

The hiding plenty part is what makes a memo like this especially disconcerting. First we have an Admin that treats the citizens like the enemy and now even higher ups could start to fall.

I have a feeling that this one is really leading up to something and it's going to be revealed shortly.

China and Iran are buddy buddy. The US moves against this sort of activity. Iran comes out and points at Israel and China get's off the hook. The only thing missing from this Democrat administration's activity about this whole thing is Slick Willy {Bill Clinton} turning a blind eye towards China once AGAIN.

Okay everyone,

This is so vague let's not jump to ridiculous conclusions. The notion that this is a Nazi style silencing program is over the top. It's possible, sure. But based on what? Your preconceived notions about Obama's secret agenda?

Let's talk about the reality of this before we get fat on nutter butters.

To me, this memorandum indicates one of three things:

1. There has been increasing signs of espionage within the Executive branch and intelligence agencies.

2. There is expected to be an increase in attempted espionage within the Executive branch and intelligence agencies because of new information or potential events. Maybe because of impending war, or maybe because there has been some new influx of sensitive intel.

3. (seems to be everyone's favorite) The administration is doing nothing other than limiting the information for the sake of making itself more powerful.

The first two are far more likely, if you ask me.

My best guess. This has to do with the preparations of a potential military operation in the case of severe escalation in Middle Eastern conflict.

Another guess, some undercover spook led Iranians to believe the US was cracking down on Zionists to temper aggression.

Well this guy is named Boris Sverdlik a Israeli who came to the US in 2001. And I would say he is in a position that concerns national security being paid to hack government computers through Homeland Security's Private hacker force. He worked for Jaded Security. Now he owns his own security company working for Homeland Security. He used UN standards for hacking against US standards for hacking as a defense. Sounds like something a Israeli would do when they get there hand caught in the cookie jar.

Having read the article and what is written as part of the executive order the following can be stated:

What this order does, in short is create the capacity to do a witch hunt under the auspicious of national secruity. It directs those in the exectuive and at the federal levels to actively look at and ultimately seek out those who are leeking classified information.

But what should be more disconcerting is that it will open the door to where anyone with access to classified information is now going to lose personal privacy. It does not kick anyone out of the military or congress, as that is what it does not cover, nor does it cover anything else that is not ultimately under the direct control over the Executive branch of the federal government. It also could have a direct impact on those serving in the US military, or those associated with the US military. It is a disturbing memo on the part of the President, as it would mean that the flow of information concerning activities that they are doing are going to be more subject to review and then disclosing what they believe the public wants to know, instead of everything or the small details that the press would focus on.
