"If you hear an Angel singing you will hear a thousand voices singing just like a choir where each voice is a voice and a musical instrument in the same time"

Before any instruments there was the Voice.

Actually the voice is the one that create the musical instruments.

In fact Each instrument represents a voice and each voice may be a musical instrument.

Born from the need to express different feelings.

Like love

Like sorrow

Like beauty of the soul.

Like joy...or just for the pleasure of others.

I guess all the voices came from one voice as they can sing as one voice when needed.

just like notes on a musical stave.

www.trifari.com...

That voice still exists today and she sings through the many beautiful songs.

starred and flagged your post for being intriguing

The Word, imperishable, is the Firstborn of Truth, mother of the Veda and hub of immortality. May she come to us in happiness in the sacrifice! May she, our protecting Goddess, be easy of entreaty!

VAC the living Word

""
……every authentic word is prayer, and prayer is that act in which and by which Man enters into contact with the core of the real.

……Once the Word has become Cosmos, the Word cannot go back to her Source without the Cosmos accompanying her ""

All this is possible because ‘VOICE’ exists ?

how would we ever have communicated reality without a voice ?

what good would words be without voice ?

would we have evolved into writing without the voice ?

imagine, we had a voice but no words : would we use our voice as a musical instrument only and hum all our lives ?

what would we hum ?

maybe the Great Hum does have words ?

Whispering Hope

Soft as the voice of an angel, breathing a lesson unheard
Hope with a gentle persuasion, whispers her comforting word
Wait till the darkness is over, wait till the tempest is done
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow, after the darkness is gone

Whispering hope oh how welcome Thy voice
making my heart in its sorrow rejoice

If in the dusk of the twilight, dim be the region afar
Will not the deepening darkness, brighten the glimmering star
Then when the night is upon us, why should the heart sink away
When the dark midnight is over, watch for the breaking of day

Whispering hope oh how welcome Thy voice
making my heart any sorrow rejoice

First thank you for your beautiful words coming from a voice.

Second, I apologise if I don't write very well I have problems with my pc.

"voiceless word is as empty thought or word formless."

I ask myself many times which can be the most powerful weapon in the world, maybe the word.

But in the same time a voice can be the bringer of the true word.

Perhaps the first word came from heaven.

dearest p., it is so in my heart to share this with you and others who would follow this your thread on ‘choir’

however i can’t find the right words and sentences, i have real difficulties to put my vast impressions into a meaningful expression, it is so beyond, i launched many attempts, all futile, i just can’t compose a statement that will be just enough for an intro to eric whitacre’s concept and creations.

i decided to summarise some of my feelings in brief words : speechless, shaky, goosebumps, love, joy, hope, touched, faint, amazed, fascinated, grateful, moved, purpose, uplifting, a praise to the internet at its best, there must be angels involved….

i’m buzzing with ideas and thoughts provoked by this work of human cooperation…. words belittle the immensity of this art

i know you will understand me

if people wish to know more about eric whitacre and his creations and vision

Music and voices of music need no words because that is the expression of our hearts.

Certainly Angels are involved because I am sure here we can find a little piece of Heaven on Earth.
