Star Wars I-IV and The Godfather I-III for dinner :: is Shakespeare the Antichrist?

I noticed that for those of us who don't watch football, we have the Star Wars series or The Godfather series to choose from for "background music" during the family holiday feasts. What is that about? Is Shakespearean drama the Antichrist?

I watch football and I'm an obvious Star Wars fan, Godfather as well.

I did actually have Star Wars ROTJ playing during Thanksgiving dinner though.

George Lucas and Mario Puzo are hardly Shakespeare.
The Godfather is played because of the "family" tie in. It's a stretch, I know.
No Idea why Star wars plays over the holiday. Probably because it's kid friendly.

You can choose to listen to whatever you want. Shakespeare? Anti-Christ?

Wow a jump from football to the antichrist lol interesting leap but how
does it make any sense? are you implying that because they are on
during thanksgiving they are somehow evil? they are just movies so
far as i can tell, never cared much for the godfather movies but love
star wars!

maybe star wars is Jesus and the godfather is the antichrist! Luke
the proverbial son who offers forgiveness and a righteous path,
the godfather who uses his influence to pollute the world behind the
scenes....... O.o
