Well, I believe this we all knew. There were key targets within Gaza that needed to be taken out, before a direct war with Iran were to take place. Such as media centers, underground tunnels, possible weapon storage.

Over 3000 targets were hit in Gaza alone

I Personally agree with this theory, sadly at the expense of more palestinian blood shed.....

I also think they hit 2 birds with one stone, by observing how involved Egypt will get as well...

Considering the strong ties between the muslim brotherhood and hamas....

Israeli tactics. Destroy hamas now, while you know iran and egypt wont do ****

Next stop could be hezbollah.
