On March 5th, a collection of 12 previously unreleased recordings by Jimi Hendrix will see the light. People, Hell and Angels follows Hendrix in 1968 and 1969 as he works on material apart from the Jimi Hendrix Experience and suggests new, experimental directions.

Hendrix did say that they would release stuff he'd recorded that was just toilet water swirling down a drain.
On the other hand, his masters did threaten him if he tried to publish stuff he believed in, that that wasn't what they'd bargained for. Much of his stuff, to me, was anticlimactic compared to when he was burning just right, so we'll see. Wish he'd just gotten into jazz/improv.edit on 22-11-2012 by davidmann because: (no reason given)
