Turkey had formally asked the NATO to deploy Patriot missiles to protect its long border with Syria


That is BS after Turkey denied Nato/US access during the Iraq War, and now when the shoe is on the other foot give Turkey what it wants.

Oh hell no.

Sorry but defensive missile sheilds, neither have the range nor the payload capacity to be a "first strike" weapon system.

As in the Patriot missile system it is built for speed at short range-kinetic kill,
