Previously Sealed Documents On James Holmes Released To Public

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Previously sealed information about suspected Aurora theater gunman James Holmes was released on Wednesday.

4 On Your Side Investigator Rick Sallinger looked over the documents from open records requests made by reporters.

Sallinger said the documents are like a puzzle.

“We get lots of tiny bits and pieces and have to paste these parts together to make sense out of what seems like a senseless mass shooting,” Sallinger said.

What was released Wednesday included his application for a security access card. It lists Holmes with a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in neuroscience. It says he was requesting the card in part because he was a researcher in a lab where animals were housed.

What happens to documents while they are sealed? Might they have been sealed so that someone had time to alter them? Sealed documents should always be treated with suspicion when released.

I believe they were sealed so that they could not create bias in the court case

How the hell did they manage to convince people that Beaker was James Holmes. I hadn't noticed that before. Wonder how many people missed it too.

I'm not about to admit that Mr. Holmes was part of any conspiracy, but either way the whole thing is bizarre. I hope the trial is more illuminating.

What is confusing everyone I think is the man on the left is wearing a T shirt. But I am sure a photo shop guru could add a collar and tie and we will all see, pretty clearly that it really is Beaker.

I'm sorry but what? I never heard of James Holmes before and your absolutely badly-written, uninformative post under the news link tells me nothing more about it.

We try not to be-little people around here. It tends to leave a bad taste and smell.

As for Beaker AKA James Holmes, he is a guy who went on a rampage in a movie theatre in Colorado a few months ago and killed a heap of people and injured a heap more.

I am not adamant, I think it is a massive set up and not possible for Holmes to be the sole shooter let alone the mastermind.
