my opinion is that these two journalists gained credibility in standing up for what they believed in. they can be marketed as "real" journalists. where ever they end up will automatically have credibility.

That's the way I see it too. While 'politics' is the keyword, they still remained neutral and would not discuss exactly where the bias lay. I take it the station management will not say either

 I think it was smart and shows class going out the way they did vs some childish rant that would most likely label them as loons. Actions speak louder than words and their reason for leaving has received national media attention, mission accomplished. Although I doubt Fox or MSN will be knocking on their door anytime soon, they will at least be able to sleep at night with a clear conscious, which is obviously worth more than money to them and I couldn't agree more. It's also very possible that their actions do more good for them than bad, good luck to both of them.
The world needs more people with moral and ethical backbone.

I feel like a couple of anchors were "compelled" to leave. The question is why?

When you read about this station the issue seems to be they kept cutting the news and news shows mostly because they have been dead last in the ratings forever. They out sourced the weather parts and got rid of most of the daily news casts and recorded the late night news earlier in the evening with only the sports done live for high school football scores. It would seem the issue these anchors had is news was pretty much dead last in the priorities of this station and they could see the writing on the war for their jobs.. The only mention of things story wise is the station did not allow storys that sensationalized global warming. So in the end nothing to see here really.

I'm glad to see integrity is not totally absent from journalism. Good for them!

Wow, I can't believe two professionals told their audience they are quiting. That's just shocking news!

I think the person who made the youtube video is trolling for views with title they gave it using the word "bombshell" and the person who brought it to our attention might be trolling for views by posting this. What a waste of time. I hope no one else falls for it. Where's the thumbs down button?

That must mean that the politics 'issue' mentioned as reason for leaving, but not elaborated on, had nothing to do with it then, whilst global warming is 100% a political issue in telecasting that is never ignored rightly or wrongly, no matter what the science is saying.

Yeah they quit because that channel cut most of its news and they were not even live anymore for their late news. I think they just saw the writing on the wall. The politics angle is a better excuse than they are giving up on news and we are dead last in the ratings.
